LOL I think a lot of women (including me) just want to hear that they look good. They are asking for a compliment. Now as far as the no butt thing, I agree there is a difference in having a nice *** and being fat. :)

I liked your word play, except that people from Poland are called Polish, and therefore you may be granted permission to call the people from Holland- Hollandish (which is a yummy sauce). I usually find the the women who ask those questions are at least having moments of low self-esteem and are looking for a little confidence boost.

depends. if she asks and is single, maybe she wants it to look big to get attention. if she taken and happy, she doesnt want it to draw attention, shes tired of the hassle from men. if she going to an interview, she doesnt want to look to...slutty for a lack of a better word. there are several reasons, just depends on the situation and where shes going and why.

In my opinion, it is so they have something else to b*tch about. Like when they go somewhere fancy with their friends and they are all dressed like streetwalkers and when you pay them a compliment they get all bent out of shape.
