She says I shouldn't be like this or hang out with other "punky" people, but she did when she was young and she turned out fine. I told her that just because they're like that doesn't mean they're bad or druggies. I asked her once if she thought I was punky. She said yes and didn't seem to care. Now she's all... against it. Shouldn't she let me believe what I want to? I mean, I'm a church girl, I'm not going to go out and get high or anything! Seriously. I don't fit in with preps and stuff, and her telling me not to hang out with people like me is like setting me up for emotional disaster. I wish she would just accept me for who I am. I'm "emo" and I like it. Tell me what you think and help me in how to get her to approve. And be realistic. Don't tell me to tell her to "shove it" or something.

Kthnx.

I've known this guy for almost eight years, and we've been friends for over seven years. He's been my best friend, the one I turn to first with both good news and bad. For the first three years of our friendship, both of our mothers thought there was something between us, but there never was. I'm in the process of getting a divorce, and lately I've been thinking of my friend in a more-than-friendly way. I know that we're compatible, because we've had such a close friendship for so many years. I'd like to start dating him after the divorce is final, but I'm terrified of it not working out and losing my best friend. I'm also scared of telling him how I feel, and he tells me he doesn't feel the same way. I think that could totally change the tone of our friendship. I'm really attracted to him, and I'm scared of acting on that feeling, because he's the best friend I've ever had and I don't want to lose that. What should I do?

Well my bro-in-law has been living with us for almost a year now rent free. This was suppose to be temp, til he could get a place. I'm beginning to feel hopeless about him leaving. My husband helped him get a job, even gave him a truck to use this past year. My husband has talked to him and his bro says he's looking. I think he has it way too easy. He has kids over every other weekend and they make messes and it seems like I'm cleaning up after them and I'm tired of it. My husband has been gone for work for 3 weeks and he has not offered to do anything to help me out. His gf sleeps over everynite. He borrowed my husb. Jeep because the tire was flat in the truck, returned it with no gas I didn't even get a mile away from my house without breaking down. I just feel like he is taking advantage of us and it's starting to interfere with the relationship between my husb. and I because I expect him to talk to his bro about it, cause it's his bro. It's making making me bitchey.HELP

What did you do about it?
Did you tell your other parent?
How did it make you feel?
Is there ever any justification for a married person to have an affair?

And if its the look of the commode that is a problem i wonder why the commode estetics say its more 'nice' when its down.Furthermore have i never met anyone that stands around the báthroom "to watch my lovely commode" so can it!

Me and my boyfriend have been done for two months and i thought i wanted him back during that time...but i realized recentally that i didn't want him and the real person i like is my friend zach...so him and i have been hanging out and talking more lately and I really do like him...but he's gone for a month at camp so he'll be back the 25th of august...now...i told him that I like him as i hugged him goodbye when we walked to his front door...now we are friends with benefits...((i don't do that too often but i like him...)) but i think we'd be a cute couple and so does everyone else...but he hasn't told me if he liked me back or not...so by the time he gets back I'll be single for 3 months...should i go for it??? be honest.

I am in love with this guy he said he cares about me but doesn't love me. We have been in a physical relationship and have a great time together but he would not commit. he also said if i find someone else to live my life because he does not want to hold me back when he is not ready for a commitment with me or anyone (or so he said). I decided to cut off the sex and just remain friends because i felt if he is getting everything he wants from me he will not want a relationship. Can this actually work or am i wasting my time. He agreed to no sex and said he has no problems taking it slow. Does this make sence to try to reverse things after all we did sleep together and the attraction is off the hook. Also i should let you all know that we are not seeing anyone else but each other and he treats me like his girlfriend is very caring but would not verbally commit or agree to being serious. And before me he broke up with the love of his life and had been alone for five years before me (Help?

My boss’s daughter is getting married and I got an invite for the wedding. I helped out with the envelopes and labels for the invites. I hardly know his daughter and I was invited to the shower (which is Sunday) and I got the invite today. I already have plans on Sunday night but the shower is during the day. I don’t really think I should go since I hardly know her. And besides I looked at her regisrty and there’s nothing on there under 75$! She register for 12 glasses that are 100 a piece. How ridiculous! Anyway, we don’t know each other, the whole office got an invite out of kindness and I don’t want to go. Should I? And why do people register for gifts like that? Isn’t it rude?

I asked a similar question before, and instead of recieving a positive answer, the answer was "Are you nuts?" No one actually thought of researching the idea: So I have decided to detail it this time.

There is actually a theory that Jesus and Mary Magdaline had a close relationship, similar to a courtship: Read The Gnostic Gospels, BEFORE answering. In the Bible she is referenced as "The one whom he (referring to Jesus) beloved."
No, I am not nuts, I have done my research, but my question is about seperation... as far as I can tell there is no reference of a seperation between the two. And the engagement is difficult to tell as to whether or not it is merely an implication or informational. Secondly the engagement may be seen in more of modern romantic episode if one chooses to decipher the text in that way, rather than an explanation of sexual involvement. In other words, the texts imply a romantic relationship without sex between the two.

I've been called selfish (even by people I consider more selfish than me). I don't want to be thought of as selfish and I don't want to lose the small net worth I've worked so hard to earn. I can't volunteer because there's no time and no volunteer work I'd be good at. What can I do so I'm never called selfish again?

i think its a no but when a girl says they'd rather get to know you better when you ask them out, does it actually mean they will consider you or does it just mean they dont want to hurt your feelings?
