I asked a similar question before, and instead of recieving a positive answer, the answer was "Are you nuts?" No one actually thought of researching the idea: So I have decided to detail it this time.
There is actually a theory that Jesus and Mary Magdaline had a close relationship, similar to a courtship: Read The Gnostic Gospels, BEFORE answering. In the Bible she is referenced as "The one whom he (referring to Jesus) beloved."
No, I am not nuts, I have done my research, but my question is about seperation... as far as I can tell there is no reference of a seperation between the two. And the engagement is difficult to tell as to whether or not it is merely an implication or informational. Secondly the engagement may be seen in more of modern romantic episode if one chooses to decipher the text in that way, rather than an explanation of sexual involvement. In other words, the texts imply a romantic relationship without sex between the two.

But the question is, were they together(is that an accurate interpertation of the Gnosticism) did they seperate, and thusly if it is not mentioned whether they seperated or not what would Jesus have most likely done if they had been romantic partners and have seperated?
