just wondering....how long were you engaged? did you plan the whole time? or did you take some time off during your planning? and again...What is the minimum amount of time it would take to plan a wedding?

Ok, he drank every weekend, hated to work, slept all day if he could....but we had a blast together, and i love him dearly. he told me about 3 weeks ago after i was saying that i wanted more, he loved me and was just not ready to grow up or move out of his parents house....uhhhh hello he is 30yrs old. I am 35 with a 13 yr old, and i came to realize after lately bickering alot and him always drinking and sleeping and so on.....that i must go. Oh i forgot to say that while we were bickering, he punished me for 3 days and would not answer his phone, return my calls texts or emails....so thats when i flipped, i sent him a text basically saying that my patience has run out and that i dont deserve this....take care. Well of course within less than a week i missed his skinny ***, so i started calling, no answer sent texts no answer....sent and email last night he finally responded saying he cant talk to me anymore...so i get it, but it hurts alot how do i move on, now i he is gone?

i have this friend and she is really pissed b/c some other girl who used to be her friend and isnt now b/c some other girl said that she was talking about her behind her back so now one girl is talking about my friend and tell my friends friends that she has been talking about them behind their backs and now they wont talk to her and it is making me feel bad for her b/c she is miserable do u have any advise for her? if u do let me know please!!

To make a long story short...Last year while me and my girlfriend stayed together I cheated on her but she didnt find until after I found out she cheated on me..well we broke up in april but we were still talking like we were still 2gether but like 3weeks ago I made up in my mind that I couldnt be the other woman anymore cause she is still with someone at first she thought I was just talking but now she see that im moving on so last friday she so called left that girl house to come see me but I treating her like a friend and I guess she didnt like that so this when the begging started she told me she couldnt live without me and she needs me and that its nothing out here for her...so I ignored it until 2days ago she texted my bestfriend who she doesnt like and asked her to get us back 2gether..lately she said she be over that girl house but she answers the phone and talk to me normal no whispering or nothing and tells me she loves me. do you believe she talks to someone?

There will be approx. 15 of her college friends (men and women) and I'm sure spouses for the married ones. She always tells the story of how on graduation day, she and all her friends jumped into the lake near her college for a skinny dip. She said the whole thing lasted about 3 minutes and it was a great laugh. Anyway, she tells me that for a laugh, she wants to relive that and says she has asked her college friends (this is a 20 year reunion) who was up for it and she said most laughed and said sure. We have a private lake on our property. So my problem and question is this. This is not a matter of trust, I know she isn't going to run off with any of the men she will be doing this with, but I will honestly admit I am a little jealous. I don't like the idea of my wife jumping in a lake nude with other people, including several men. Am I wrong in feeling this way or should I just roll my eyes, smile and go with it. And no, I will not join in and skinny dip with them.

i broke up wit her due to her takin me for granted but prior to that she was a great girl it has been a month since we broke up i see her on the way to work almost everymorning she constantly stares at me and say little comments to get my attention one day she call me n ask me how come she hasnt seen me and i told her i havent been sleepin at home and she ask me if i have a new gf which i didnt answer so i ask her to meet me for lunch she look very eager to meet me so we did that noon first thing she ask me "do u have a new gf" jokin i said yes and she began to ask me a series of questions and finally i told her it was joke but i do have potentials she then told me i could behonest wit her we are friends cuz im seeing someone then she began to tell me about him which i told her im not interested but she continue i guess she wanted to get it out of her chest then she then told me that i am a great person wit lots to offer then she began to ask me about my situation wit these potentials

I received a letter from the mistress stating the affair was over with my husband. It gave specific dates she was in my home while I was traveling out of town. Yes, the dates indeed matched when I checked my calendar. Of course, I plan to confront him and I'm prepared for his excuses.

How should I handle this so my husband doesn't make this out to be something it's not? Clearly this is a HUGE deal!

I'm turning into a very bitter person nursing a very bad 'loathing' of people.

I think it all stems from home. My mum is crazy. I just got hit by her because I didnt comb my hair. She hit me with her towel and my face stings.. That is not the only thing she's done to me..

Whenever she's angry, she throws everything of value to me, my handphone, my ipod (which I am using as a thumbdrive to store THREE years' worth of school documents - i'm still schooling) she nearly broke my ipod, which I spent $500 on five years back..

I'm sick of this, and I'm sick of cringeing badly whenever she comes near me. I hate her. I just taunted her with: "you want to hit me, come on, hit! every time angry always like that" and of course, she hits me.

My sister has been living with my husband and I for the last month and a half, the circumstances as to why my family put her out makes us all a little sick but my husband is livid, she stole something VERY valuable from another family member, In addition to her bringing her boyfriend over everyday (my husband considers him a shady character), my husband is seriously uncomfortable with her life style.
I am really really sick over this situation, I have paid for her to rcv updtes from an Apartment Search, I've looked for places on my own for her, She says the problem is that she has bad credit and all of the apartments she is interested in perform credit cks, & my husband forbids me to put the place in my name fearing our credit being ruined. Don't know what to do, she's my baby sister, but my husband doesnt care!

I'll try and keep this short... My fiancee and I are building a new house and our possession date is two weeks before the wedding. He is going to move into our new house right after the possession and i'm not allowed due to my families beliefs...) His sisters are also going to be staying at our new house before i get a change to move in...
My fiancee wants to have the rehearsal dinner there, and I said i don't want to because it's a new house and i haven't had the change to live there before we have 40ish people over for dinner. I'm also worried because we will have NO lawn down yet and I don't want people walking around the house with food and wine...
Am I being selfish for not wanting to have a huge party at our new house before i even get a change to move in...?

I put my daughter in some tutoring classes. I asked my parents to pick her up and drop her since its during the day when I work.

My father basically gave me the third degree about how much they cost and asked all of the details.

I just wanted him to drop her off and pick her up which he had volunteered to do.

I felt like I was dealing with my ex-husband agan by the way that he gave me the third degree.

I think if I am paying for the tutoring, I should be involved with how much I am spending not my father. Its my child and I am responsible for her development.

refuses to divorce but runs off and is know where to be found? I know a girl who's husband isn't signing divorce papers and has just run off and left his wife and 5 kids just so he doesn't have to pay child support. He is know where to be found. Isn't there some type of law that against this? This girl lives in Michigan and I really want to help her out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Please read my previous questions to understand my situation I am in. For this past week I have changed so much for my family. I know things cannot be solved in a couple of days, but being in a family that you know that someone who used to love you so much sudden ignore you really hurts... I have taken to the next step and seek marriage counselling, in fact tonight is our marriage counselling appointment. For this past days I have spent so much time with my son more than usual. I really love spending time with him. He is everything to me. The only problem I have now is to have my wife with me again. I thought sending her chocolate strawberries would cheer her up at work because this week is very hected for her. It hurts when she didn't even taste any of the treats. I really don't want to leave my wife, but I feel like she doesn't want me around. I feel like she doesn't want to share her life with me anymore. What should I do...? :(

I am getting married April 2008 and my fiance & I were disscussing kids. He says he won't be able to afford a home, bills, food, and kids on his ($120,000) salary b/c he also pays $1000 in school loans. We have no family near us and I really do not want my kis growing up at a daycare. I must admit I grew up with my mother staying at home. My sister also worked for a nicer daycare & said she would never put her kids in daycare. I told him I would go back to work once they are both in school but that I wanted to work at the school for I could have the same time off as the kids. I am willing to have a part time job 2 or 3 days a week while my kids are small but my air traffic controller husband would have to be home. Yes, air traffic controllers have all sort of weird hours.
His friend who works with him even thinks I should stay at home b/c my salary right now would not cover the cost of daycare, gas, and clothing (for me at work). How do I convince him or what should I do?

We have been married 15 years. Wow, what a sex life even with three elementary to high school kids. There is absolutely nothing I wouldn't do to fulfill my wife's every sexual desire and need.

Over the past few weeks I've asked her if she wants anything different or desires something she isn't getting. In times past this would be a simple "no".

Lately it has changed to more of a shrug and "Oh, I don't know". For the life of me I can't get it out of her.

One night my girlfriend and I off 2 1/2 years got into a fight at a party. When it came time to leave I could not find her. So I got a ride with a friend. I assumed since she was upset she went back with one of her girlfriends. The next morning she never came home until 9:30 am. Visibly upset I asked what she did and where she stayed. She immediatly lied to me and said she was at a friends house. Which I knew was not true. Cause I saw the her friend that morning. She instantly broke down and said she didnt know where she stayed and she was really drunk and cant remember. So after fighting all day she insists nothing happened and she just went to bed. A week later I get a note saying she lied about the night and she cheated on me with a high school friend. She said she was mad at me and he was there to comfort her and one thing let to another. Its the first time she has ever cheated on anyone. She is moved out, but we are trying slowly to make things work. Am I crazy?

I've been with my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years and he's still going on dating websites looking at profiles (mostly of half naked women). I've come to the conclusion (he doesn't admit to it) that this is his "porn" since it is free (he's a "frugal" person). I do have proof that he doesn't contact these women, but is this considered cheating or should I just blow it off and not be concerned?

I have this thing where if someone says something cruel or nasty to me i shut off and I can't care for that person anymore.That wasn't the case in the past but it is now as i've gotton older and have been hurt a number of times.To me the trust and loyalty of the friendship is gone when one person decides to abuse another's weakness.does that make you a bad person if you've stopped caring?
