I think your child is a part of you. If you're attractive and have a great personality and if I think you're great, your kids wouldn't be a reason to scare me off. I'm too mature for that.

I'm a single mom and do a lot of dating. To answer your question from my perspective, I would say there are a few good men out there that will be not only accepting of the fact you have child(ren), but welcoming to it. It seems mostly that the younger, less mature men have issues dating a single mother, so I've just learned to completely avoid them. The really good guys I've dated in the past would recognize how much of a struggle it can be to be raising a child on your own, and would help out in sublte ways (that's a sign of a keeper!)

I don't have any problems with single moms. I married a single mom and the only problem I faced was the fact that my partner was not faithful but this doesn't mean all single mothers are the same. I would definitely date single moms and if the relationship leads to something else so be it.

Dated a few, most of them favored their children over me, even though i tried to be a cool 2nd dad to them, the mom in fact, still in her heart, wanted the former guy, even though imprisoned, or a total A-hole.
After
One gal with an 8 year old.
One gal with a daughter 15, and a daughter 19
One gal with a 10 year old son
One gal with two 6 year old twins
All who if given the chance would run back to the "real dad"
I gave up trying, and went for single girls again.

most nice guys grown up 1 dont think any thing bad of them kids r a part of the package andit can add so much more to there lifes to

I would like to come over for dinner and meet your children.Red or White wine. Hope carnations are ok.I like them better than roses and they last longer.Less expensive so I can get a good wine.
