My son just started his first serious job and we have him pay us a certain amount a week to reimburse us for the expenses we pay on his behalf. Part of the rent, his share of the cell phone plan, and his part of the car insurance. We were talking about it tonight and he asked how much of his money actually went towards paying bills. I said that he was reimbursing us, that the bills had already been paid, and that it didn't really matter what we did with it. Am I right, or does he have a right to be concerned?

Me and my ex have a 2 year old baby boy , we have already been through the courts and that nastyness is settled and we enjoy joint custody of our boy. The court order states i should have the boy mon - wed and every other sunday she gets thur to sat and every other sunday . hahaa this is getting complicated - or at least my story telling ability lacks lol so i will cut to the chase.
for the most part we follow the schedual but week by week its always differnet . so here is the question finally , is it hard on our son to go to moms for one or two nights and then dads for one or two nights , or would it be healthier for the boy to be with each parent as long as possible and then with the other parent for as long as possible.

i didnt say what i think as to keep it unbiased

I am trying to do my family tree and have been at it for almost a year. Some of it i can go back to the early 1700's which is great. Then there is my mothers side, which isn't so easy. Ive spent days trying to find her grandfather. He was born in the Netherlands and came to the US about 1934. Ive checked Ellis Island and there is no luck. I do have his dob, dod and ssn. I can not find anything about his parents or siblings though. Anyone know where I should look that might help more?

I've never gotten a check before today. I filed Jan 2006 had to get on assistance in march until june 3 months. I closed the child support case in August 2006. Now I got a check and my ex is flipping out threatning to take my kids and get child support on me. The agency here won't return my phone calls and when I get someone they give me the runaround. im scared anyone know this stuff?

I am worried about my friend she has been seeing a divorced man who cheated on his wife NOT with her in fact she didnt meet him until after he was divorced..Anyways she has been seeing him for about 6 months and she wants to marry him but i told her that a bad idea cause he has a cheating past...So my question is would any of you ladies marry a man who cheated on his first wife i know i wouldnt cause it will probably happen again..So what advice should i give her i dont want to see her get possibly hurt. Okay...so a couple months ago I met this guy and we have been getting to know each other but I only see him for a couple hours a day. I think he's very attractive and would like to at least go on a date or two. When he first sees me he smiles and says hi, I of course do the same... This weekend I asked him out for a drink and he said yes but then had to work. So, I'm really just curious how I know if he'd be interested in a dating relationship rather than a friends/aquaintance relationship. I don't want to just be blunt and tell him I like him, so how can I let him know without it being akward? Advice from the guys on this one please!!! My husband is trying to get me to take his car that he owns in exchange for waiving spousal support (he's in the military). He has the majority of the furniture that was in my apartment and he still wants me to waive support. The car he is offering isn't worth that much. He wants me to take the car if I'll agree to only take half of what he needs to pay me in spousal support. ??? I'm not sure at this point what I should do. He knows that if he keeps paying me that he'll be forced to move back into the barracks, and he's already stated he's too good to live there. Any suggestions?

I'm lost as to how to make new friends. Since I left college after having my daughter I've lost touch with how to interact with women my age. I mostly have older women friends but it's just not the same. I'm very shy so its not easy to approach people. I need help. I want to hang out with people my age. Any advice?

My mother is 52 and recently lost her husband this past January. he was her only means of support for over 30 years. She never even learned to drive. She now only has $51 a month to live on. I have paid her rent and deposit for her but that is all I can do. Now she is behind on her bills and rent. Where can I find help or get donations to help her? She has no one else to turn to and I have a family of my own to care for. I have done all that I can as far as my own finaces go. Please someone tell me where to get help.

I need you guy's to be honest...I have seen many married women who have children get out of shape, gain weight, never loose the weight, get stretch marks, have saggy boobs, and have a floppy loose stomach's from having children...Many of these women say to others that having stretch marks and other things I mentioned is a beatuiful thing it shows the mark of having a baby and that their husbands love it..Is this true guys???? Honestly, areb you still attracted to your wives afer they have had children?? would you change them if you could??? Do you wish that they would get back in shape after having children??? I have a 15 month old daughter and didnt get over weight , didnt get strectch marks, didnt get a flappy stomach,didnt get saggy boobs, and still are in great shape..My husband tells me that he is very thankful that I care enough to stay in shape and look great for him...would you guys want the same thing from your wives?

The woman told me numerous times and also showed affection in other ways...(not sexual) and then all of the sudden said we needed to slowdown. I did reveal an insecurity about work (i.e. boss takes advantage of me financially-->makes me feel like a chump sometimes). Wouldn't she want to work out any perceived problems? Why would she just want to throw it all away? Especially after she told me I reminded her of her only ex-boyfriend (of 3 years...and they have been split up for over 1 year)? Any thoughts?

this man an i have been dating for over a year. he was planning on getting married when we met. we were nothing but friend for a very long time. no physical anything involved. two weeks before got married, things changed and our relationship went to another level physically. fast forward a few months and i realize he's starting to love me. about 3 or 4 months later he finally admits it but i don't reciprocate. a month or 2 after that he backs me into a corner and i answer. i tell him i feel the same way but i know this cannot be this way. recently he told me on more than one occassion that he wanted to have a baby with me. he actually said he could not see me having a child with anyone else. i have no intention of doing this but would like to know what changed; we always talked about how we could not bring a life in this world because he is married. so what changed his mind? i haven't changed mine. also, women, please don't ask me how i feel if my husband did this to me because he did

I was watching a talk show (either Tyra or Dr. Phil) about Polyamory and found it weird, but alittle interesting.
For those of you who do not know and from what I gathered from the show and wikipedia, polyamory is being in a "three-way" or "triangle" relationship. It's not cheating because each person is aware of the other two, whether one is in a relationship with two people who do not love each other or all three in the group are in love with each other (I think, I'm not sure).

I'm going to the 9th grade. They say too really do good on this year.I'm about to enter high school. I'm trying to get a acamdemic scholarship, at my school it's really hard. I want to go to NYU to study law.Ok then my daddy told me " something going to happen in August" right when school starts. I thought he was going to get laid off or something. But my daddy is going to bring it up in August. I don't want to cry because that's really going to jack me up. I want be able to concenstrate at school i will have too much family problems. They act like little kids. It's mostly just my mama side of the family because they have so many kids like 8 or 9.My worse Aunt Nessie she comes in everyone home and eat there food.It's like school w/ no education but drama..
I cannot handle it. Then my daddy said "he might move out if he have too". i don't know what's going to happen.. No-one here to support me, it's like i have to handle my own emotions.

Okay... so I like this guy alot.. we're really good friends and 3 of my friends told me the he likes me.... even one of his best friends told me one day they were on their way to pick me up. She was like " okay T**** just told me that he likes you and that he would like to go out with me" i was happy so the next day i wrote him a letter and i told him how i felt and everything...i felt kinda stupid.. but the thing is that i thought he didnt like girls (if you know what i mean) he's dated girls before (he just told me) but everybody at my school told me that he likes boys... i'm soo confused. Anyways the thing is that after i gave him the letter he started to call me everyday..and he started to talk to me more at school... then he'd call me and ask me he could come over to my house and we just started to hang out. now that is summer..we havent got the chance to hang out..he calls me and i call him..he's always like "hey cutie we need to hang out soon real soon I miss you so much!".HELP?
