Don't fret. It's no biggie. Just talk to people around. Don't be nervous, it'll be a cool experience.

It may help to realize a lot of the other kids there are nervous too. Just be yourself, relax and pay attention to the orientation! If you have some free time, just turn to the person next to you and ask about their summer, or what classes are they looking forward to.
Other people love talking about themselves, so do yourself a favor and spend the majority of your time listening to them. They'll remember you for it.

well you just have to talk to the people, listen to their conversations and think of something similar that you can talk about too. If you cant think of anything, just start a new conversation and let the others join in. Also, just be yourself and dont act any different than you normally would, then you will feel more relaxed and comfortable.

you don't really try to connect with people at highschool orientation because everybody is with their parent and trying to figure out whats going on, especially if your a freshman. Usually its all about the first day of school.

everyone else is probably as nervous as you are.
high school is a wonderful time to make new friends.
deep breath...relax..smile..
be yourself..keep it real.
just say hello..introduce yourself.
ask them about themselves..people love to talk about themselves..
talk about school...tell them that you are new...
speak about music..clothes..
you will make friends .

just be nice..say hi..don't be like loud and obnouxious...be yourself..talk to poeple.its not that hard
