My husband will be walking his daughter up the aisle to "give her away". Her biological mother will be there alone. I am wondering where the step-mom usually sits in this situation and where here mom will sit. Her dad will want to sit beside me, I know, and not his ex. Like, will I sit on the second row? Her dad will want to sit beside me and NOT his ex, I know! What is the proper atire for me to wear. I am looking at a black tea length semi-formal style dress. Is black alright to wear? HELP!

Found out my ex wife was having an affair for months prior to asking for a divorce.I ignored my gut instincts and have found out she has moved in with this guy.I am so angry with myself and her.I was moving forward and now this just draged me back to all this hurt and anger. My ex should get an academy award for acting. My boyfriend and his friend go on camping trips almost every weekend together and they won't let me or anybody else go with them. He was always a control freak with me and my 2 older sisters, and he and my 14 yr old son got into a physical fight 2 years ago. He thinks I am stupid and that I do not know how to raise my kids, or do anything to better my life. I am just afraid he is going to do her that way too, and ruin her special day. He likes the boy. She moved about 4 hours away from them to go to college to become a physical therapist for special needs children. I want her to be happy, and I wish her the very best, and I love her so much. She deserves a better life than I had growing up with my brother. We all grew up in a abusive/alcoholic home. I just hope she becomes very successful, and has a great life.

I am getting married in late September and want to know how and when you wear the bridal veil. I know you wear one piece over your face and the other piece behind your head when walking down the isle. Then when you're pronounced married, the groom lifts it up from your face and pushes it back over the back of your head. But is the veil worn during the reception at the back of your head?

This guy is my work colleage, and I don't know him for too long, we have been hanging out a bit lately. he is busy writing his thesis for the school, and I have asked him if he wants to play table tennis together over the msn, and he said he can't go, still get school thing to be done, and give me a smile face sign. so, I told him I will be going alone with a smile face sign even though I was kidda dissapointed. later on, we never talked again. yesterday I saw him online at work, so, I guess he is still busy for his school thing, but I am hesitating if I should make the move to ask him if he is all right lately. so i've been trying to be friends with my ex who i love more than anything so she can be happy.

I have come to realize that she is the one i want but i need to let her be free.

I'm a stong Beleiver in "If you love something,set it free. If it comes back it's yours, If it dosen't it never was". But now i am coming to the realization that it is really hard for me to be her friend because i want to be with her.

I have also realized that If she is meant to be with me then she will come back to me in the end and i will be so happy. I'm going to try and play the field just to make sure that she is the one.

We are both 19, go to the same college, work at the same place.

My question is do you think i'm handling it right and how long should it take for her to act like a friend around me because she dosen't really want anything to do with me.

i like this girl and for awhile i was sure she actually liked me too. she would always give me random compliments or say i was cute. but recently she went to Wisconsin to some camp and called me a couple times from there... she sounded different. and when she got back she stopped acting like she liked me. and then the next day she had pictures of her hugging some other dude on her facebook. what am i supposed to do.. and i know a lot of you will say that pictures and her mood change does not mean and thing, but one of her friends said that at the camp her and that guy were dancing together and spending a lot of time with each other. my look on it is she just wanted attention. ??

i am nice, pretty, outgoing (most of the time) dont have alot of confidence in talking to people for sake they may not like me. and you know, i cant really talk to guys all tht well .u can tell some of them like me, and its kinda obvious i like them. one of my friends even told a guy i liked them just to see what he would say! but as for me, i just cant talk to the ones i like. i am not in the popular group , but i have a few guy friends. and sometimes i talk to guys in class for a conversation, but start liking them i cant talk to them or my face gets all red.please help? i am going to camp next weeek at my school and i want to talk to some. any tips or good lucks?

like:

not boning other chicks while married = forsaking all others
putting up with the screeching hag = for better or for worse
taking your hard earned money = for richer or poorer
dragging it out = for sickness and in health
dragging it out some more = until death do us part
