Just realize that you, as a person, is always growing. So do not be afraid by this phase. It is natural. One of the greatest gifts in life is that nothing lasts forever, and this too will pass. So go with it. It will pass. And cupid's arrow will strike you one day when you least expect it.

I've felt that way a several times actually. I definitely think you can be happy without a significant other. I know a few single people who have been "alone" all their lives, and they're fine with it. It's all about finding things to fill your life with.
Think of life like a suitcase when you're on a trip. Yours won't contain the same things as someone else's. You'll pack different clothes than anyone else; you might bring your straightener, while someone else might bring a bunch of books, and someone else might bring running shoes. Similarly, you'll have different people in your life than anyone else, and they'll be of varying importance. A man in your life might be one of the bigger things in your suitcase; but someone else might pack all their good friends, and not feel the need to put in a significant other too. That's such a weird analogy but I think it works.

Yes I have been there a few times. It felt great!! I could focus more on myself at that point. Do not feel guilty about it. Your mind and body are telling you to take care of yourself for a while, and when the time is right again, someone special will come into your life. Have fun!!!

Oh believe me I have been there. I have been single for two years now and up until about 6 months ago I didnt want to get involved with anyone. Sometimes you need that time alone to get your own head straight before you can involve anyone else in your life.
In my case I had a bad breakup that shook me and it took me a long time to get back to a place where I wanted to start looking for someone. I think if that is how you are feeling right now you need to just go with it for now. Learn to get comfortable in your own skin and the right people will start to come into your life.

yea, that have happened to me for the better part of my life. Person that I loved once, i lost interest in them, through no mistake of theirs. The people that i thought of so colse, have disapointed me, have killed my faith in them.
There was a time that i abslutly loved the lonlyness that i once loath enough to start writhing diaries!!! I Just wish i could fly sky high without any backlash what so ever. But still there are times that I miss someone, someone that have never came to my life, someone, that no one else have even been close to being. IDK. I miss someone that i never meet..
So, yea. feelings are normal, i think.
