This guy & I had a casual type relationship for over a year before he had to move back to his home town for a job. We haven't really kept in touch that often since he's left, but I still have feelings for him & I think he still does for me too. The last time I talked to him (a few months ago) he had a gf. Well..I hadn't contacted him since then & just last Friday, he called me that night to talk to me. I was out drinking w/friends, & it sounded like he was too, I told him that I missed him, & after we talked he said "what you want me to marry you?" since we were talking like we liked each other again. Then he told me that he was looking at positions here where I live, so that got me excited. I asked him about his gf & said he broke up w/her because she wasn't as "cool" as me. He asked me if I wanted to go to a cubs game w/him & his friend that Saturday (he played for the cubs) so I said yes, he gave me a wake up call so I could start driving, but I said I couldn't & he understood.

Many people suggested going to a pastor for marriage counselling, but my husband and I are Catholic....the Catholic Church has priests , not pastors and ministers, do priests provide that service? My husband and I grew up as Catholics, and I went to Catholic school when I was little, but to be honest we don't go very often. Also the Catholic Church is so different from other churches. it just seems colder and not as involved with the parishioners. Should I try another Church?

My girlfriend and I were invited to a party this weekend. I just found out i won't be able to go and my girlfriend might. I really don't feel comfortable at all with her going because she and her best friend will be the only two girls there and there will be about 10 other guys. One of them she used to like and three or four others don't have girlfriends. And I know her dad would flip out if he knew that she would be one of the only girls there.

Should I ask her not to go and explain that i'm uncomfortable with the whole situation? Is this alright to ask if i'm polite and tell her its up to her?

My son is 14, and he was watching The Terminator in his room. We walked in to see if he wanted to go out to Best Buy with us. My wife immediately cut the television off, and I asked what was wrong. My wife sternly insisted that he was too young to watch that. I understand that he is young, but he we let him watch any PG-13 movie (as he's 14), and ive talked about watching Rated R movies with him. He said he's watched them before, but only becuse his friends are allowed to, and he said he knows right from wrong. I understand what its like for a teen not to have any respect from adults with this matter, but he's very mature, gets good grades, knows what's real and not, but my wife wont budge. I said Ill watch the movies with him(as a guy thing), but my wife has put me on the couch about this, and believes that I should side with her, but my heart belongs to my son. I'll watch the movies with him, and Ill decide whats right and wrong, but my relationship with my wife is waning.

Help??

My female friends boyfriends go to the strip club and my friends hate it. My boyfriends goes to the strip club ( he does not think i know but i know) and i really don't care. I don't see it as cheating if a person go to the strip club. Sometime me and my female friends go to the strip club which is a total diffrent reason from men because we laugh at male strippers but men there turn on by strippers. Even though we have diffrent feelings towards it i don't see it as cheating as long as there not sleeping with the stripper or anyone eles. why do some women get mad when there boyfriends go to the strip club?

My ex-girlfriend broke up with me about three months ago. We are meeting next week to talk about things, after some time has passed. I think I would like to get back with her, but I have different feelings for her. I almost feel like I would be dating her as if we never new each other, like the first time we met. my wedding will be in the fall and i am trying to find a color that will go nice with the theme and my hair. I have strawberry blond hair but it is more red then blonde, and the wedding will be on an old farm in the fall. the leaves will be falling at that time. i may use some tartan as well. what colors should i use? blue is my fav color but i dont think it will go well

I am totally head over heels this guy...

I am 22 he is 31, maybe the age is a big difference, but I don't care... He invited me over, and I went over, We hugged, and we were just sitting there, hugging, and he kept touching my hand, rubbing my arm.. (arm only ppl).. he didn't want to let go... and then he went in for the kiss.

I felt like he did like me... he wanted me to stay longer, but I had to go to work the next morning.. the thing is he livez in AZ and I live in CA... He has his work out there, I didn't think because of what happened we were actually an item... or seeing each other. It kept bothering me, so when he told me we were just hanging out and messing.. it bothered me, because he knows I am better then that, plus I had told him before that I like him...

Is he seriously messing with me? Or what is he thinking? This is the same guy who said likes my toes.. who is now in AZ saying he wants to see me again.. what is his deal.. he is confusing me or playing with me?

i dont know why but lately my sis has been saying mean things to me. she is 19 and i am 14. yes she is very immature for her age she still throws tantrums lol. but a few weeks ago my family was going to the mall and i was like "i feel ugly in this outfit" and my sis said "who cares, you always look ugly anyways" and today she poked my eye and then she said "SORRRY!!! .....NOT!" and later on i was in my room like an hour ago playing my DS, and she said "your life sucks, no one cares about you" her life sucks cuz shes 19 and stays home all day and is not even in college and she has NO friends at all. and also she was wearing my PJ shirt today [it says "too cute" on it] i told her that was my shirt, and she said "not uhh i'm too cute, your too ugly!!!] wtf is she just being sarcastic or is she really meaning to hurt me emtionally she never use to give out rude comments like that before.

I love to hang out with other couples. My husband gets irritated by most of my friends. Granted, I only have 4 friends and he only likes 2 of them. I love to entertain at the house and he always gave me a hard time until finally I just gave up and now we don't even have cocktail parties anymore. I know he has issues with people being in our house and that is something he has to work on so I've tried so hard to be understanding.
He says it's selfish of me to make him hang out with people he doesn't like, that it is fake. I want to share my life with my friends and the man I love....but I have to keep the 2 worlds apart and it makes me very sad. I feel very alienated from everyone because of him. He NEVER stops me from seeing my friends, but I would love to hang out together sometimes...
Someone suggested that he is being very selfish and I'm wondering if I am being fair to him....and to myself.???? Do I assert my position on this issue or let it go??

I dont want him to talk to me, or tuch me, or anything. Everything he does drives me nuts, and we have only been married for 4 months, The trouble started when I had to work more Hrs. and I asked him to help with the house work and he tried but ended up screwing it up and I had more work then help. I also asked if he could help with the dishes how hard is that. I feel like i married an idot. Help me try to understand why men can't do anything right. or at least men explain to me why you don't know or want to do the things we ask. please my marrige is at stake.
