My fiance and groomsmen would like to wear regular ties (not bow ties) and pocket squares instead of boutinerres. Can those be rented at a tuxedo place? We need them in light green. Also, any sugesstions for good tuxedo rental places?

Don't rent pocket squares...just go to the fabric store and buy a yard and cut them out...six by six inches is a pretty good size. You could either use stitch witchery (you use an iron instead of a sewing maching), sew them, or even glue a ribbon on the edges in the other wedding color to hide where you cut.

A whole yard of satin would probably be like five bucks at top price but if you watch the Sunday paper every few weeks Michaels and Hobby Lobby and Joann's all have big sales and run coupons for 40% off.

As far as the regular ties, get them as a present at any men's clothing store...then they will have them to wear again after the wedding.

Renting...Men's Warehouse. I have heard absolute disaster stories about After Hours which is owned by David's Bridal.

Try mens wearhouse, they are nationwide and their wed site is very user friendly. They have lots of colors and styles to choose from.

Our groomsmen had a euro tie and vest and it looked great.

Good luck!

Yep- my hubby was just in a wedding- that is what they had. They rented their tuxes from the Men's Warehouse.

After Hours. That is who we are using, and they are great. They do have pocket squares, but i do believe the colors are limited.

Yup--I suggest finding a local store (not David's Bridal) and talking to them.

You'll be able to find everything you want.
