WOW Fall weddings are beautiful, pull colors from the background, the farm and the leaves. I would go with burnt orange, browns and hunter greens. And have fun there are alot you can do with a fall wedding. I wish I could talk my fiance into having a fall wedding but he doesn't want to wait until next fall.

What are the colors in your tartan? I know most have gold so maybe gold with blue as an accent? I don't think you have to worry about your colors matching your hair, your the bride and you can stand out from the crowd! Good luck!

You're right, blue won't work for a fall wedding. Warmer colors would look best--the oranges, golds, greens (like forest green), reds, burgundies.
The only way blue would work would be to have navy blue in the winter.

I think blue mixed with gold would work for a fall wedding. Maybe a little green, too, if you're using tartans. For a bold scheme, use royal blue with a really strong gold. I think soft robin's egg blue w/ a pastel gold is really romantic, too.

Go to the hardware store and put paint chips together. Find one the color of your hair and pair it with all diff. colors until you find a combination that works for you.
Take home a few sets of you wedding colors. They really come in handy to take shopping with you or to give to vendors when you want to see if something will look good or match the colors.
Benjamin Moore paints also has a tool on their website that lets you do it online.

brown and blue can look very nice together, and would go with your hair and the season. It sounds like your wedding will be beautiful - I love fall!

Any color of green would be lovely, could use beige/tan accents w/the green Or tan/beige w/dk brown accents, OR light turquoise w/dark blue accents OR a pale blue w/navy accents OR dark blue w/pale blue accents...I'd say to definitely STAY AWAY FROM: pinks, reds, & burgendys...

I suggest using a rust red color and copper. The red color is a deep red with gold undertones and the copper will accent nicely!!!

rab some swatches! You can use paint swatches from a home depot or paint store and try mixes different shades, see what you like. Find one that is close to your hair color and some autumn tones to play with other colors and find what you like.
Good luck
