Save every penny you can get your hands on. Where I live it cost roughly $1000.00 to get visitation, so I'm not sure what fighting over custody would cost. Work extra hours to save, one thing about it you will never regret it when you have them home with you.

If you don't have a legal aid society in your area, call the bar association in your county or state. They have lists and can tell you how to get a pro bono attorney or at least one that will work on a payment plan.

You can ask the court to appoint you an attorney. Lawyers have to do so much pro bono work, so the courts have you complete a finacial affidavit and if you meet the income guidlines, they will appoint an attorney to you.

You might try Legal Aid. They may be able to help or maybe a family memeber or a friend may know someone who would do it Pro-Bono (FREE). Either way I hope you have good luck!

Go to your county court and find out how you can file on your own.
