My best friend and I are in a domestic partnership and there are people that say we are gay and neither of us is gay what is the best way to handle such people without causing any hard feelings for anyone? My friend and I entered into this relationship to be able to physically care for one another; h51 and I am 67 and we feel that our differet ages should have nothing to do with our being the friends that we are because friends are not mmade because of ages but how one another reacts to one another, Tell us please how others feel about such a relationship though it will never change this relationship. The ides of others not near are usually well accepted so please your comments. Thank you

I talked to my wife (who has been in germany for the last 5 weeks) today, and she told me she was going for a job interview.
She didn't come right out and say it, but to me she was saying she was staying there (why else would she be interviewing)
She is supposed to come back next week. She was mad at me for not supporting her in this decision, and told me should would never have a career in the USA. (we are still going through paperwork for her citizenship).
What am I supposed to do? Long term relationships where you can't see eventually being together don't last. I know women get lonely, and she'll find someone else, thats just the way people are.
She is the nice girl, I always looked for.
What should I do, i am heartbroken?

Iv'e been married now for three years and I love him very much. But latley I been wondering how it would be if his area were larger , not that he dont please me but it could stand to be a little bit better. Okay i got my AP scores back like 3 weeks ago but I'm such a pansy that I didn't look at them until today. And I've been stalling all this time telling my parents+bro that I didnt get them yet. But I looked at the score today and I got a 2 on AP Bio. Totally unexpected. I am in shock.

What is the best way to tell my family this without getting in trouble or for them to take it easier on me when I do? Please help, I'm so depressed =[

5 years ago my mother in law had financial trouble and lost her house and car. I loaned her my truck (extra) and let her move in with us, remind you 5 years ago, until she could get back on her feet. she has been working ever since and she does pay rent but only enough to cover half of the monthly grocery bill. i have 2 children and my youngest which is 6 now has spent the last 5 yrs. in our room (wife and I). It has now bothered me financially, emotionally, personally, and mentaly. My wife says she can say anything to her because" thats her mother". My daughter is going to 1st grade and will be wanting her friends to spend the night soon and thats hard to do when she sleeps with us every night. She has out right told us she has no plans or intentions to leave simply because she can't afford it on her own. She refuses to look for a better paying job because she says her credit is bad and she can't find a "good paying job" because of that.... what should i do?????

i am 25. he is 43. he is IT and i am in HR. we didnt like each other ar first but now kind of have an odd, flirty relationship. even before we became friendly, id always catch him checking me out (and i am not the type at all to think every guy is looking at them, but it was obvious) but i thought he hated me, then everything changed last week. today, i asked him for help and he didnt know the answer to my problem, but went out of his way to help me. afterwards, he turned around and was completely blushing, face to neck! this is a 43 year old man talking about something stupid and laughing at my retarded jokes (though we were kind of close in proximity). i said something self-deprecating and he was like, " don't insinuate that i think you're not smart". it was awkward, so then i left. he is a 6'5, big, english, tough punky guy. is the blushing good or bad?

First of all I want to thank all of your for the AWESOME support! I didn't know how to respond on the same page as my original question so here are my thoughts re: what some of you have said... wouldn't you think that someone that comes from an abusive situation as a child/adolescent wouln't want to treat others that way because of how bad it made them feel instead of carrying it on into their adult life and treating others the same way that they have been or seen parents treated? You would think that they would want to do the opposite. Smother their partner with affection and kindness. I just don't get it! To experience this mental/emotional/verbal abuse is just bizarre to me. Believe me, I don't back down ,cry, beg, etc etc. I stand up for myself and fight back. I'm just confused by this behavior...I feel like why can't he see how he is acting and notice that it's not normal? Oh, believe me...he's on his way out. PS...you guys are THE BEST!

well my bf and i have been together a year. when we got together he had some porn in his room, but it belonged to his brother. i told him i didn't like porn so he just gave it back. then we were out of town with his bro and his bro's friend. we stayed in a motel and while my bf and i were falling asleep in our bed his bro and friend were in their bed watching hardcore porn (i guess hbo had a weird special at night or something...) any ways my bf turned over for a minute because he heard the "noises" and i told him i didn't want him watching it. so we just went to sleep. he doesn't care if he watches it or not, so it's not an issue that would cause a fight. i was just wondering if i'm too jealous? if i am how do i work on fixing that?
