By definition, romance requires that the couple ,for the most part, be together.However, it doesn't mean that nothing can be done in your particular situation. For starters, I would suggest that a surprise visit is a terrific romantic gesture to make.It shows you believe in the saying that distance is no obstacle to love.You could also try sending surprise gifts through the mail such as flowers, chocolates, sexy lingerie( think Victoria Secretes).In addition, romantic phone calls like the first thing in the morning or the last thing at night keep you in her thoughts and her in yours.You can try these ideas individually or combine them for better effect---like arriving on her door step in the morning with flowers, chocolates,and--------.Get the idea! Take off from work,drive up to her,pick her up from her work(if she does work)take her to a secluded place,have a picinic by canle light and dusk and let th night lead u.

Send her real letters, not e-mail, not texts, but real handwritten letter by mail. No one ever does that anymore. Us girls are suckers for that... Its sweet and takes time.

u can send her letters and stuff like that...u can email her too, but most people would prefer a hand written letter.
