Anyone who lives in california knows how expensive it can be here... problem is im getting married and have a budget.. $4000... and i cant seem to find a wedding and reception site that works with that budget(expecially with 100 people attending) and thats just close family and friends. My fiance and I really dont want to get married in a bad area.. so can anyone help?

For those who plan on getting married in the future, what food do you like to have at your reception? For me when I plan on getting married, I'd just would like to have BBQ (nothing too fancy) like chicken, ribs, brisket, coleslaw, baked beans, and potato salad as well as pecan pie, apple pie, and peach pie and iced tea (choice of sweetened or unsweetened) with lemons. I am a Texan and BBQ is the king there and I love BBQ. What do you like to have to eat at your wedding reception besides that wedding cake and punch?

I haven't had a REAL boyfriend in two years, but I go through guys like nothing. No I don't have sex with them, but that is exactly why I go through so many. Why do guys always get so pissed off when you say no. no means no, NOT yes. SERIOUSLY, guys really know how to make a girl feel like crap just because she won't have sex with you. Is it so horrible that I am waiting? No I'm not waiting until I get married...but until I find someone SOMEWHAT worthy of it, who won't just bone me and leave me for the next. Really, is that so wrong? Because sometime's I just wonder if I'm wasting my time by trying to have relationships instead of just having sex, I have never been with a guy who DOESN'T want to have sex with me and actually be with me. I don't know what I'm doing so wrong or maybe am I just expecting too much??

My fiance has been hiding porn movies & magazines from me. I confronted him again just recently and he made me believe he threw them out. I actually found them he hid them in a different spot! we just got engaged this year and now I feel betrayed and hurt..confused! I thanked him for throwing them away as he held my hand and said not a problem babe.so i thought they were gone and i found them again. I dont know if Ishould just break off this engagement as I cant deal with my man hiding something like this. He has stopped during sex and asked to put a movie in so of course I say yes and didnt really want to but didnt want to start an arguement. He use to have sex with me often and its now maybe 1x a week or 2wks or 3wks sometimes so I feel he would rather have that than me.
I never tell him no as I love him and am in love with him however him hiding this is causing me to not feel the same in my heart and it scares me.

Hi everyone. I'm male, just turned 24 this past monday and I have always aimed at getting married at 27. I find myself in a situation just right now as I realyzed I will have 3 years to find the right one. (this is only an idea that pased by my head by the way) how do yo u know that the person you are right now is the perfect one to get married? I think I am somewhat attractive, I have a good job, have a degree under my belt and studying to be an engineer. I have a girlfriend and she has been awesome with me for the past six months, but I don't see myself married with her. Finding a girl friend is not hard really, but finding the right one... I don't know how that feels. what made you say: "will you marry me" (guys) or "I do" (girls)?

Many months ago, my girlfriend and I (both in our 30s) parted because I was reluctant to go the next step. Two months into her relationship with someone else, I fought to get her back. She lost sleep and couldn't decide. After many weeks, she came back to me, saying she ended with the new guy because he was much younger and not ready to settle down (I now am). She said my pleading had nothing to do with that break up. We love each other, but now I fear she came back only because she couldn't have the new guy. I keep wondering whether she delayed because she liked him more, or if the sex was better, etc. (If so, I know she wouldn't tell me that). My friends think I should just be happy she's back, and that says it all. How do I get over the jealousy? Girls: Should I assume I compare favorably with the new guy if she is willing to go back to me? I guess I'd hate to be her sentimental or practical choice and him her sexual/romantic choice.

My mother called me the other day asking where I was going to stay the day before the wedding and I told her at my home with my fiance. She did not appove of seeing my soon to be husband until I walk down the isle. I told her that I was not going to that. Well I tried calling her all day yesterday and finally she returned my call later in the evening. I called my little sister and ask if my mom got her a dress and she said no. So I called my mom to see when she was going to get her the flower girl dress and she said she did. Then she went back into the same subject about what we argued about the day before and I told her the same thing I was not going to do it her way this is how I want things. She still didn't approved and said I was disrespecting her and she was not going to attend the wedding then hung up. Five minutes later she called back to say she was going to attend the wedding but maybe not go the dinner, I told her I needed a firm answer weather if she and my 3 little sisters

Well, I am graduating from middle school and I got technically everything I want.
I got a laptop (since my school needs one), I got an iPod, an AMAZING digital camera, an AMAZING cellphone, a PSP...
I'm turning 14 this August and since I got some great grades for 8th Grade, my parents want to reward me by getting me something... Please, give me options to what I would like.. I won't give you a price range since I have none but have it reasonably priced.

I am almost 13 years old, and I live with my parents, and 2 younger siblings. Weeks have passed, and my dad has told me to go outside and play, well when I'm gone, hes been on the computer. Married ladies, I need your help. I have been feeling really down lately and I don't know what to do. My husbands work schedule and mine are different. I work M-F 8-6 and he works the afternoons T-Sat evenings. We never spend any time together anymore. I feel like he is losing interest. We have made love maybe twice in the last two months. We don't have kids, either. Every time I suggest going out, he's too tired. I suggested going out for a cup of coffee... he's too tired. I said, "A cup of coffee will cure that!" and he still wouldn't go. I don't harp on him, I am not a nag. I just want to spend time with the man I love. I want to make love. He's too tired. I just want to go somewhere together and hold hands. Maybe he's too tired to love me. I've given him space, I've given him time. Last night, I told him how I feel. We had a good talk. He said we should go out for lunch together today. So I went home to pick him up... too tired. I've had it! What do I do?

I tell you to enjoy their Grand Children. I had a great time celebrating with my two youngest Grand children this afternoon, took off work early. My Daughter picked me up, and we went to Chuck E. Cheese, it was my Granddaughter's first Birthday.

So, it was my Daughter, her two year old son, and her Daughter, the Birthday girl, who turned one years old today.

I can tell you, I had just as much fun as the two kids, and their Mother. I love my Grandchildren, they mean the whole wide world, to me. I am so bless.

I have minded my two grandchildren for the past 5 years every day , and tomorrow I retire the family are moving 20 miles away ,I will get to see them very often .
