I am almost 13 years old, and I live with my parents, and 2 younger siblings. Weeks have passed, and my dad has told me to go outside and play, well when I'm gone, hes been on the computer. Well, I've wondered and I snooped around outside and peeked through the blinds, and he was indeed watching porn. I have also found porn magazines behind the safe in our closet, and other sorts of porn media. What should I Do? Im afraid if my mom finds out, our family is done for. REAL ANSWERS PLEASE!

PS: He clears the history afterwards, so I cant find out what he's been looking at, and being able to block it.

I'm really sorry you had to find out! That's pretty awkward/ scarring...anyway, just try to push it aside and forget about it. Try to leave him alone. Not everyone is the perfect dad...in fact, I don't think they exist except in commercials! though most dads have issues, I'm not saying great dads don't exist. my dad is still cool even though he has his own cons. Anyways, if he is a great dad, and if this has been happening for awhile at the same time, then he's still a good dad even after you find out (if that makes sense). Remind yourself of the good things he did for you and your family. If it's really bugging you, and you don't feel comfortable confronting him about it, write him a letter. It will give him time to come up with a good response.

I would love him even more, pray for him if you want. Can you talk to him? Better yet, write him a letter and tell him how you feel, if possible. Keep him busy taking you places and if all else fails, throw away every piece of crap you find.

as long as it's not child pornography, leave it alone. maybe your mom already knows anyway. this is their business. stay out of it.
