Be upfront, and No don't flirt with the guy!
What you're doing is leading them on, and eventually you'll run into a psycho who just might hurt you, for leading him on.
I would say, let them know, and if they are mature enough to be friends, fine, if not, then don't talk to them

It only makes it worse if they like you. Harmless flirting is ok, but try not to make it a habbit with the same person if you dont really like them. But hey if you like flirting and you know they like you, then just be careful not to lead someone on.

See this is why flirting is a sign of nothing. This is why people should as a rule ignore anyone who flirts, hints uses signs or signals and doesn't say exactly what they mean.
You may think you can lie to everyone here but don't lie to yourself. Unless you have some frontal lobe disorder you know you do it intentionally. You enjoy the little ego boost from getting a reaction out of guys.
You're guaranteed to someday lead on the wrong guy and he won't take no for an answer and you will end up one of many women who are sexually assaulted.

Of course it makes it worse it's called teasing in that case not just flirting. It hurts their feelings and gives them false hope. I would be yourself minus the heavy flirting.

Cool it. Flirting is fun, -but if you really aren't interested in the guy, he could interpret your continued flirting as your "playing hard to get". -And that could cause YOU- alot of trouble. Flirting CAN make things WORSE- so be carefull who you do it with. :)
