I broke up with my boyfriend three weeks ago, because he let me down when I needed him most of all, and also because he treated me really badly. Just very insensitve, selfish and controlling person. I begged him back a few times, which further lowered my mood because he said no. It's really hard. I know he never really loved me, I know that he is SO the wrong person for me, and I know that he treated me poorly. But I miss him so much and I can't get him out of my head. My head says it's the right thing but my heart is hurting still. I have low self esteem, and am finding it hard being alone. I just don't feel strong without him.

I already spend lots of time with friends, but they're all couples and it can make me feel even worse. How long will it take to start feeling better, and does anyone have any tips to help get over this? I'm so sad and scared being alone.

My boyfriend and I are constantly fighting ....we love each other but we are so different and that in itself isnt a problem but our differences keep hurting each other.......i know he tries so hard to make things work but i still feel disappointed by the things he say and do- and then it shows and i tell him abt it and he then get hurt and its a vicious cycle ...he is a good guy but he is used to only caring for himself even when he was married he only cared for himself (she cheated on him and he couldnt understand why and sad but true i think she cheated on him just to end the relationship) i would never cheat on him but the arguing is quite taxing-he's 13 years older than i am but in so many ways im so much more mature.and when we discuss something his response to me having an issue is to bring up one of his own and so we never discuss anything -he used to be so nice but now he's different not mean but no longer nice and he criticises me ...could something like this ever work

My husband is an alcoholic, always has been, but was clean most of the time until recently. Yesterday, I told him I would leave if he does not quit. He threw a fit at first, saying he would move out. Then later on he told me I am more important and he would quit for me. Now he will not talk to me, before bed I told him goodnight and he rolled over without a word and he will not return my phone calls today. What should I do?

I purchased a 3 stone engagement ring. The two outside smaller stones were diamonds and the middle larger stone was fake so I had it replaced with a pink sapphire. I have shown and spoken to a couple people and they said that I should leave it. They feel that like myself it is different. Others have said I should have it replaced with a real diamond.

We talk everyday,about anything. The weekend,food,drink,sport,music.And i spoke to him like always and he spoke to me,but not as much.I have noticed though that when he talks to other girls he doesn't seem overly happy,but does when he talks to me. And he doesn't look at me alot when he talks to me.He tends to look away more.He wants to know who i like.He copies my actions sometimes,and he teases me.does all of this mean anything?

Last week i was at my boyfriends house and i was on the internet, i went to google something and it came up with what he had previously searched. It came up with female escorts. I didnt say anything to him (well not yet anyway) and left it at that!

The other day my friend at work was telling me that her husband cheated on her a few years ago with a female escort.

Do you think this is a sign to tell me to get outthis relationship?

In most relationships its the blokes who allways end up paying for everything you do as a couple. This may include dinner outings going to the cinema or anything you enjoy doing as a couple. I believe that after a while in a relationship the female should pay for a few things as well. What do you all think.

Can anyone tell me why the hell my soon to be ex mother inlaw is so interested in my life. Yes I am the mother of her Grandchildren but that's as far as it goes. I was married to her son for 14 years. He's buggered off with another woman and now she rings me every night wanting to know where I am, who I've seen, where I'm going, it's driving me insane. I don't want to hurt her feelings as she has had a lot of illness recently plus she has to put up with the fact that her son is a complete prat.

I just asked a question regarding stalking. I’ll give more details so you all can tell me if I have a case. First I noticed that she changed her address and her mail isn’t coming to my house anymore but any mail that I do get (marketing mail or another piece of mail) with her name on it, someone is crossing out just her first name and putting it in the mail box. Would the post office do this? I would imagine they don’t have time to cross out somebody’s name even if they know they don’t live there anymore. Is it tampering with mail? I would think the post office wouldn’t cross the name out because that’s tampering with the mail. They just deliver as is. Also she is dropping off her daughter at my neighbor’s house in the morning right when I leave for work and showing up at the gas station right by my house at the same time as me (I just drive by). This weekend I have to take my children back to their mother at a specific time. My ex. Knows the time and lives 20 minutes away now but right at the time I take my kids back, she was at that convenient store right at that time on Saturday morning. Is that enough for stalking and please answer the question about the mail so I can call the post office and report it. She seems to be stalking but being very good at doing it in a public place so it doesn’t look like it. But the mail thing is a different story. Maybe the post office is doing it? I doubt they have time to look through the mail and crossing out her name. I think they have to deliver it as is without alterations. I can’t see a mail guy knowing she doesn’t live there anymore and crossing her first name off the mail that comes to the house. I don’t think they can do that. Anybody work at the post office here? I want to see if I can use this as evidence. Plus somebody smashed in the side of my mailbox but I don’t have proof it was her.

my boy lover am living with really do something which was very painful, i went to work and was raining very heavely, there was no car but he has a car and was at home i call him to come and pick me, immediately i said that he switch of his phone, i called his sister to go and give the phone to the brother for me to talk to him but he still refuse, there was no car i really suffered, do you think if he loves me he wouldn't have come and pick me immediately i called so the next morning he came to tell me many stories without apologising to me about what he did. do you think i should forget and live with him again because this shows that he doesnt love me or care for me.

My mom has lived on her own since I left home and got married four years ago. My wife, was racially attacked by my sister and my other sister and brother sided with her. Whatever the provacation, the result has been we don't discuss my brother and sisters - not really an issue since they were'nt that close to me.

My mom has been lonely, and I have tried to give her support, but being married it is difficult, and having a busy job as well. Poor statement maybe, but the point is my sisters and brother, after years of shunning my mom, anre helping her out.

Part of it is so they can slag me off, which I don't care about, but now, my wife does'nt want anything much to do with my mom because she feels she (my mom) has sided with them. My wife feels angry which I understand, but kinda resents any time I spend with my mom. My wife is always first for me so I don't understand it.

I feel less pressure if the other family members visit - fine, but how do you deal with being in the crossfire?

I gave my girl fren a soft toy. I once told her i like her but she said she doesnt want a relationship as we are both studying.
