Some guys (and girls) are just flirts. They like the control and the attention. It's perfectly natural, and may actually be an indication of a deeper, hidden self-esteem issue. It might not be but it's possible. Just play along, but don't bank on it going any further. If it does progress, you'll be pleasantly surprised but if it doesn't you don't get frustrated or let down and you still get to have some fun.

maybe he is just a flirt! i got a friend who can't seem to stop flirting with anything female. if i were you, I'd enjoy it and maybe flirt back, see what reaction you'll get from him!
