i live in a detached house, i go to an only boys school, and i have really protective parents. can anyone tell me ways to get a gf.

Take heart.
You have one fact on your side: girls like having boyfriends more than they care about things you see as drawbacks. Going to an all-boy school may make it harder to meet girls, but those all-boy school boys are usually seen as extra choice.
You can surely meet girls away from school at church or at your job or by hanging around someplace regularly. Your friends can introduce you to girls they know--sisters, cousins, friends. Where I live kids from one school are often called upon to be dates for dances that kids from the other school have. The kids at the dance-holding school who don't have boyfriends or girlfriends get to know others that way.
Keep trying. And if your parents are protective, it's only because they love you.
Oh, and because they don't trust those "scheming females". (A joke, but as the mother of three sons, I've felt that and have long ago gotten over it.) The way to handle your parents is to make sure they have plenty of opportunity to get to know any girl you see. If the two of you don't treat your parents as "the enemy", they won't be the enemy. They're on your side, after all.

If you find someone in your neighborhood or at the movies. You never know when you will meet someone knew. Keep your mind open! Don't just pick someone to have one. Good luck!

join some clubs outside of school where there will be girls, get to know them that way

get a virtual GF.
There the best kind - low maintenance, you can turn them off at any time, and you can always find one for virtual sex.
It just doesn't get better than that.
Remember to buy lots of tissues.
