We're still friends and I don't want to stop being friends as he's still my best friend...and I'm still in love with him. We get along great, but he just doesn't want to ever get married and I do...thus why we're no longer dating. I have met someone that seems very nice and we seem to want a lot of the same things in life, but I can't seem to move on. How can you love someone when you're still in love with someone else? This is making me want to avoid even going out with anyone new. I keep thinking about the one I'm in love with. The thought of being with someone else makes me sad because it's not the one who I really want to be with.

Yesterday my girlfriend ran out and said look,and twisted around in front of me...I said Hey,wow....She said what do you think of these pants ....I said they are nice I like them on you.

She then said They are size 5 ,and paused like she was waiting for an answer, What should I do how do I answer that???

Do I say , YES!!! wow that is great good for you.

Or do I scream and run out of the house and date her sister.

OK, so more than once I have a guy tell me what they want in a girl - nice and caring, smart, funny, can help herself but can ask for help, laid back, not the jealous type, not possessive and I am all of those things. It may be hard to believe but I don't play head games and let you know whats up. I'm a strong girl who doesn't need to be saved all the time. I don't need to see the guy everyday but a phone call is nice. I believe in have mutual friends and separate friends.
So why do they say thats what they want, and that's what I am, and yet, they go for the heinous jealous *****. I have friends who treat guys like **** and yet, have guys falling over themselves for them. Part of it, they're quick to put out and are incredibly skinny. I don't put out and am not so skinny, more chubby but not huge. I think I'm a cute and a good catch but no guy can seem to see that.
Why is this? What do I have to do to get a guy to notice me as more than a friend?

My boyfriend has been asking me to marry him lately. We're both seniors, and I'm really considering it. I really love him, and I know he loves me back. I'm guessing that he may want to get married just so he can sleep with me, cuz I told him I wanna get married before I have sex and that I want my first time to be special. But I'm afraid if I turn him down, he'll just ditch me. He's not the kind that would cuz I know he loves me back, but I'm just scared I'll lose him..

The thing is, even though he says he loves me and I know I love him, there's this girl who just found out she's pregnant with his child. He really doesn't like her anymore, but I told him he has to stay with her. He still wants to marry me though. I'm confused!! Please give me some advice, thank you...

My partner & I are getting married soon & are having a party to celebrate. We want to invite some people that we get along with really well but dont really know them well enough to have at out wedding.
I know most people say its your day, do what you want (as I say the same thing!!) but I am just concerned about offending people by not inviting them to our actual wedding, just the party.
How would you feel if you were invited to the engagement party of people you like but dont know all that well (newly found friendships) but realised you wernt invited to the wedding. Money restricts us from inviting too many people & aside from that I dont know all these people that well...just dont want to hurt their feelings cause we get along great!! We are asking that nobody buys us gifts so its not like we just want presents!!

First of all...I'll start by saying my wife and I are very secure and happy.
We have talked for years about the idea of her having another guy just once, or "on the side" if she wanted. We have our reasons for this - please dont bash us for that.
A few times now - we have gone as far as meeting a guy, the two of them starting things, just to have her stop....literally leaving the other guy hanging.
Verrry frustrating for me - and the other men, of course.
Then a week or so later, she says she really wants to try it again - but she always seems to back out.
I would like to ask....
Why does she SAY she wants to do it - then never does?
Do any other couples - have an "open" relationship like this that works for them?
I have no interest in being with another woman...i just want this for her...
Do any other husbands even THINK about this for their wife?
Sorry for the multiple questions...it just happened again tonight and I am curious.

I meet a guy through a friend over the interent. My friend has never met this guy, nor have i met him. We've been talking on the phone for over a month. Ever since my ex left, my self esteem has really taken a dive. It wasn't that great before, b/c he used to say he had a "skinny fetish" and that's why he needed porn. Plus, I'm pretty shy. After having two kids, I still have 40 pounds to lose, so I realize I'm not the thinnest, but here's my question... What's the best way a shy person, w/ low self esteem, newly single, can get out and make friends again? What are your suggestions? I'm only 21, yet I feel 70. :)

OK, I'll be 20 this July and I am still a virgin. I have not had many relationships in my life because I only want to date someone who is worth it. I've made the mistake of dating someone for the hell of it but I won't again and I haven't. I am just wondering, what do you think a guy will do when he finds out? I mean, it's not like I am seeing anyone now but I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I'm just worried the guy will bolt after I tell him this. I have had chances in the past to have sex but it wasn't the right time and friends started having kids at 16/17 and I didn't want to be one of them. I think it's a good thing but a lot of people think it's a little on the pathetic side.

I am a junior in highschool and the year is quickly coming to an end...there is one more week that seniors will be in school...i feel so sad. I will never see most of them again. Some i am possibly good enough friends with to see in the summer..and others..i know them..and talk to them a lot..but it's just not the same...it will be different without these people..i feel really sad because I am going to miss them so bad..i hate how i get so attached to them...does/has anyone else felt this way?? like really sad about seniors leaving? Ok..so...My dad died when I was little! My mom was a single parent for a long time..then got remarried! I'm getting married in September and I have no idea who should walk me?! I don't get along with my step-father, I had always thought that I would ask my Uncle (he never had any children and it would mean alot to him) When I told my mom she mad eit clear it would hurt my step-dads feelings, I then considered asking my mom to do it...because she was was my only parent growing up...but I dont think she would want to...she just wants to be the Mother of the Bride and be seated and all that stuff....so who should do it?!

He goes to bed at 9p.m. & gets up in the middle of the night. I have been with him for 2 months now and I won't lie, I wish he'd stay in bed with me. But he gets up some times to look at porn on the computer or big screen and then come to bed a couple hours later. He says it's out of habit and asked me to block the pay-per- view which I did. we used to laugh and joke around a lot, and have great conversations. but anyway she basically just dropped me so i stopped trying and let our friendship fade away.. now when she talks to me (we still have classes together) it's like i don't have anything to say back really. it's a bit sad because we used to get on quite well. have you experienced this with a friend before?
