We're still friends and I don't want to stop being friends as he's still my best friend...and I'm still in love with him. We get along great, but he just doesn't want to ever get married and I do...thus why we're no longer dating. I have met someone that seems very nice and we seem to want a lot of the same things in life, but I can't seem to move on. How can you love someone when you're still in love with someone else? This is making me want to avoid even going out with anyone new. I keep thinking about the one I'm in love with. The thought of being with someone else makes me sad because it's not the one who I really want to be with.

Don't move too fast with the guy who you have so many things in common with. I believe your soul needs time to recover. You will be saving yourself and the guy who you have so many things in common with some time. If he wants to be with you, then he'll understand. He wants you whole and not half. He wants you to want him the same way he does and that is wholehearted.

Also, you don't need to be with anyone right away. Give it some time. Be patient. Stay friends with this new guy. He may be the one for you. The other guy who doesn't seem to want commitment, try and figure out what he wants in life. Maybe he's not ready financially or emotionally? I'm sure he'll want to marry when he's fully stable.

I hope this helps a bit.
