Yahoo has one, as well, but it seems to be filled more with late teens to early-20-year-old kids that are only interested in prosaic things.

how wonderful that you admire hardworking women! i would suggest a professional organization that is work related or volunteer related. many such groups meet weekly or monthly in your city and you can join and get to know women on a casual basis. if your job requires the ability to do presentations, join toastmasters (meetings posted in local paper) and get to know the other participants. what about a service organization in your area? work on projects with women who are not afraid of hard work. your local paper would be most helpful in this area. good luck!
