I meet a guy through a friend over the interent. My friend has never met this guy, nor have i met him. We've been talking on the phone for over a month. He sounds my age, and i don't think he is lying. I just don't know what to do with him/ I enjoy talking to him, and wished he was here so that i could see him. Is it wrong for me to talk to him?

It depends... are you of legal age? It's bad if you're under 18 and he's saying he's your age because he could be preying on you. You say you've been talking to him on the phone... does his voice sound like he's about your age?

Let me just say that I had a friend while I was in high school who was "dating" some guy she met online who lived 2,000 miles away. She stayed loyal to him for over 3 years before he mysteriously "died of pancreatic cancer" at the age of 19... which is unheard of and I don't buy it for a minute (but she did). Basically what I am trying to say is that some people think its fun to f*** with little girls' heads and pretend to be serious. I'm not trying to say that this guy is messing with you, but keep in mind the fact that you cannot be sure that anything he says is true, including his age. Be careful, if you do meet him, go with friends. If he doesn't like the idea, you'll know he's not for real and you should not meet with him. And if you find a guy you like in real life while you're talking to this guy, I would say go with the guy you know, because you may miss out on some good guys right in front of you if you spend too much time with your internet guy. Be careful.

Not wrong exactly but extremely dangerous. Sounds sketchy. Be careful and never meet him alone or in a private setting. Also don't let him know where you live or take the relationship farther than talking with him [pics, dirty-talk, etc.].

No Hun.....There's nothing wrong with talking. But I would suggest one thing.....If you choose to meet in person, make sure it is a public, well lit place. You might even suggest he bring a male friend and you bring a girl friend the first time around.

Just use some common sense and you'll be ok.........

It's not wrong but it may not be safe. In this situation, everyone must be considered a danger until proven otherwise. A predator could sound your age and convince you he wasn't lying.

No, just be careful and enjoy the new friendship. If you want to meet this guy face to face, then do it in a crowded place the first time. best of luck to you!

Nope. As long as you do not give out your personal information and do not meet up until you know more about him.
