I heard that when someones lying to you as they are looking you straight in the eye, they look to a certain side. does anyone know which side?

i mean they look to a certain side. i cant remember if its left or right. like they look in the direction of one certain eye.

Eyes can be misleading. There are a few people that can look you dead in the eye and lie to you and you will want to believe them. But I have found that lies are easily detected through gut feelings and attention to detail. Collecting facts about the situation and learning the habits of those who not being truthful. Most will avoid direct eye contact and look of to the side does not matter. Blinking can soetimes tell you a person is not telling the truth. People tend to blink faster when they are lying. But as far as knowing for sure. If it sounds to good to be true it usually is.

Well i've heard of that too but it was in a movie i really think it's bull cuz i know lots people that can lie to your face and looking at you straight in the eyes, you just have to see if the person becomes nervous or has to look at something else cuz they know there lying and if u persist on the same conversation they will try to change it or get mad

No they don't.. They just shift their eyes from side to side because they don't want to make direct eye contact. Also check to see if they put their hand near their face, quickly make an excuse --or have to change that excuse and have a reason for an inconsistency in that excuse-- or if they are trembling a little! Catch that liar!

to ur eyes, or they could even be trying 2 b avoiding eye contact!. And also, u could c if they want 2 laugh but r holding it back or something, then most probably theyr lying. n also, th3eir voice would change slightly . Would this help?

im not sure either, and im not sure it really matters which side, but it probably does.......for some reason i think it is if you look to the right you are lying (but i could be wrong). also usually they seem to be second guessing themselves just a little, and their story isnt always consistent. good luck!!

If they are not looking you in the eye then they are not telling the truth.

usually u can tell by there eyes but some peple well look you in the eyes and still lie
