I am looking for ideas for centerpieces for my Wedding reception.
I don't want to do flowers, candles or fish in a bowl because they are overdone. I am also looking for ideas that the guests can later take home, so I am not stuck with 50 whatever.

My wife and I been married for 13 years, and we have become friends more than anything, so, we feel it's best to go our separate ways...and we get along really good and all, and that's why we want to try to keep lawyers out of it, and do this simple, and clean....and right. We have 3 kids together, and we dont want any stress in this....it's gonna be hard enough already. Anyway, my question is if there is any way to split, but without all the decision making from somebody who wants to bleed us dry, and make us hate each other in the long run? Please help, it's appreciated!!

Has finding a boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse become more socially acceptable? I'm not asking whether or not the relationship will last because we all know the answer to that question depends on the relationship and the people involved.

I was just wondering whether online dating is now more socially acceptable. If you're a parent would you object, and if you would why?

My wife cheated on me three years ago with a convicted child molestor. She got pregnant and had his baby. For three years i thought that i was the one that had gotten her pregnant. But with a reacent seperation we had a blood test that showed he wasn't mine. Well he is mine no matter what. I am trying for custady of the children. I have four with her. Now sense we found out the youngest wasn't by me she is useing him so i cant get the children. Was told i wouldn't have any right to him even though his real dad is a convited child molestor. Sense i have no right to him that i wouldn't be ale to get the other children cause they wont seperate them. Well i dont want to seperate the children. I want custady of all four of them. Even though the youngest might have another biological father. I will always be his real father. I think i should have rights to keep him as my own sense i raised him sense he was born. Is their anyway i can go to keep him as my son. Please Help.

My husband's new found passion is fishing, but when his son (8 y.o) comes, his son doesn't want to go. My husband still goes without him. His son has been here for the last 3 weekends-which he is with us usually every weekend) I think that it has something to do on how his dad makes him feel (priority wise). I'll try to do things with my kids and step-son to keep him busy while his dad is 'busy with something else', but I can't help but feel bad to see the look on my step-son's face. I'm sure he'd rather be spending time with his dad.

I just came home and my husband just said, "if you're trying to make me feel guilty about going...it's not gonna work!"

I myself am not bothered with my husband going fishing, but I just feel bad for my step-son's feelings. Should I just stay out of it?

My bf & I were close friends 16 years ago. We remained good friends for many years & while he always wanted to take our friendship to the next level, I resisted. We eventually lost touch of each other & went our separate ways. I've always thought of him over the years and wondered if I made a mistake to not give our relationship a romantic chance.

Well, I have since married. After 8 years into the marriage, I filed for divorce. It was around this time that I found my old friend! It'd been 10 years since we had even seen each other! We began to talk and see each other & almost immediately we fell madly in love, planning our future together.

I am now divorced and ready to move forward with my life with my old friend/new love. However, he has become somewhat withdrawn and concerned. He recently initiated a temporary break because he says he wants me to make sure that I'm not rebounding. He says we need to rediscover our friendship to be sure that our love is real & lasting. Advice??

How did you ever stop missing this other person and how do you love your husband again? I never did love him as much as this other man. My husband was much too cold for me. All the money she wants, she can have, except she uses it to take care of my sister's drug habit, and 4 kids. I would never give her money any more when i found out she gives it to my sister, and she uses it for drugs. Mom says she doesn't do that, but nieces tell other wise. She isn't trying to fill her up with the drugs, but she wants to keep her from going to extreme measures(prositution,theift, ) all those things. When i found out, i stopped giving her money, instead i started giving gifts...after hearing,"that must have been exspensive, I am not sure if i need that,you could have just given me the money instead. It kills me, now flowers,brunch,clothing,jewerly, anything, to me has no motherly love to give to her. I don't know what to do now...i am so broken hearted, even things i know she needs, still would be looked at as just material.
I have told her my feelings about her and my sister, she say's " as long as i know what she is doing , i am just happy she is alive.
