I hope I would.

Situations control people though, thats been proven in tons of expirements and real life cases.

People get killed and raped in front of 50+ people and nobody does anything becuase they all think someone else will.

i am all about womens rights and protecting women from abusive husbands and men in general, and if i felt that i could help a women or anyone for that matter from an abusive person, i would do it in a heart beat, however, the only thing that i would be afraid of is if i did intervene, that the husband or man would only beat his wife or the woman even worse when not in public because i noticed and she showed pain and got him in trouble...so...i personally would be afraid to, but i would definatley intervene by calling the police and volunteering to take the woman to a hospital or even to my home to give her a home cooked meal and a safe environment, because just saying to the guy stop hurting your wife will possibly only make things worse.....but i would do anything and everything in my power to do something....

depends on the situation.

I have intervened when 2 women were fighting in the street. I was lucky they didn't turn on me. My husband was very annoyed I did it.

so If I saw a man beating a woman I think I would ring the police instead of intervening personally

of course you cant just stand their and let it happen my mom was being abused for a while by my d##m birth dad it is a hard situation to get out of and it is really hard when you dont have any help, just remember their are people you can call to get your friend out of the situation and go to court if he doesnt stop if he says he wont do it again it is a total lie, and if he threatans her then record it so you have proof, also if you dont stop it now it could be a horrible memory that will never go away in her life. If you do stop it then she will thank you and you could of saved some ones life and grief hope my advice helped

Yes, and I have done something about it when I witnessed this going on. I told him to leave her alone will I was on the phone with the police during this. I don't tolerate the beating of anyone and will do what I have to.

I would call the police, but I wouldnt get involved personally. Women very often CHOOSE to stay in abusive relationships and I would not be willing to risk my life for someone who keeps going back to that type of thing. I am not sure of the context that you meant in this question........like a robbery type thing or domestic battery.

I wouldn't physically intervene, but I would definitely call the police. If my presence wasn't known, I would make it so in hopes that he would stop.

Yes, I would, and have. This might not be politically correct, but there are times when the woman is begging for a fight. It's not always a black and white situation.

I don't think I'd jump in because I'm on the petite size and he'd probably have no qualms about injuring me but I'd definitely do something like call for help and/or alert someone who can help.
