My wife and I been married for 13 years, and we have become friends more than anything, so, we feel it's best to go our separate ways...and we get along really good and all, and that's why we want to try to keep lawyers out of it, and do this simple, and clean....and right. We have 3 kids together, and we dont want any stress in this....it's gonna be hard enough already. Anyway, my question is if there is any way to split, but without all the decision making from somebody who wants to bleed us dry, and make us hate each other in the long run? Please help, it's appreciated!!

Nope! you have to go through the court and judge. especially since kids are involved. you will probably have to pay child support to her. You could get a divorce on irreconcilable differences.

Sorry to hear this, check the paper, go to court and do it yourselves. Sounds crazy that you guys are friends, I know it may seem like you fell out of love, but it is possible to get back. Really it is, read the 5 love languages before giving up.

Sometimes you can do mediation. You talk to a mediator and draw up an agreement. You may need a lawyer (in some states) for a court appearance, but that's about it.

In most cases you can create your own terms. Fill in the blanks on the online form, sign and have notarized. File with the courthouse with applicable filing fee. Hearing date will be set, divorce over!!!!!

you don't have to pay a bunch of money if you both agree on everything, the problem is, the there is such a fine line between love and hate......and that is where the money comes in............if you both agree...cheap, easy...good for all
