I want to leave my husband and move back to Louisiana (we now live in ca) and i know i cannot legally take my daughter with me against his wishes, but I'm pregnant right now. What I'm wanting to know is whether or not I'll have more rights to keep my baby in Louisiana if he's born there. Would he then be considered a resident?

Ok I just asked this question how to be more of a mother figure than a friend.

But the case is...their mother is a *****...a psycho..she's f0cking mental!!

The oldest one is very smart and just knows EVERYTHING.
The little one...yes I think she would take her mother's side.

But what can I do to make myself a better mother figure to them since their OWN MOTHER can't!!

My husband is a military man who thinks he doesnt make mistakes. When he gets upset he talks to me as if i'm one of them. I'm getting to the point I can't deal with it anymore. Could it be something else to it? Help please.

...divorced yet? My wife left 6 months ago suddenly and filed for a divorce. The papers have been filed but the waiting period isn't over for another 2 months. I am emotionally over her but am dating a new woman now who is a bit tenative. I am wondering if this is maybe why she is holding out on her feelings a bit.

was in a long distance r. for 1.5 years. last met up in JAN, were great. We were planning to meet again in Easter. But finally broke up in FEB coz he is tired of handling LDR n he has lost feelings to maintain it. (NOT coz of another girl)

he's 24, and me 23. he has just started working for 8months. So it's really not a time to talk about compromise n stuff. I wanted to move there but he doesnt want me 2 sacrifice. Also, he's very independent and kind of compromise-phobia. Anyway we broke up.

i just wonder if he is so rational (give up a relationship coz he knows that it's hard)... or just because he doesn't love me enough to make an effort and to solve our problems.

Is distance really so difficult for a compromise-phobic-man that he chooses to break up even he knows im important?

or Would a compromise-phobic-man like him try his best to maintain the relationship IF he really cherish me?

is distance or the lack of love the cause?! can love really overcome everything!?

My ex & I split up a few mos ago, he's been wanting to get back 2gether the whole time. I kept saying no bcause I didnt want to go back to the same problems from before. We have 3 kids 2gether. Lately I've been feelin like I do want to make things work so I told him this weekend & he said no he luvs me but realizes it's not going to wrk. Well monday nite he came & spent the nite w/ me & the kids, just like back to normal & yesterday he was totally being mean to me and startd saying hurtful things like he's not going to get back w/ me, theres nothing I can do now, it's too late & I was crying & beggin him to give r family another chance, he said no I did it to him for so long & he realized what he needed to. I was so devestated, b4 he hung up he said he'd call me when he got home from his game lastnite & he did, we just talkd like normal & I apologized for earlier, he just said okay and that he would talk to me tomorrow, did he flip this on me cuz I want him now?? or is he really done?

i heard that it's best to marry a guy first before moving in with him because it will ruin the "bliss" and getting married will become less of a priority because you see each other everyday. i agree with this but want to know other peoples opinions.

We have been married a few days short of a year. We were so happy at first. He wanted children, I already had some and did not care if we had more or if I stayed with my four. He wanted a baby and I wanted to make him happy. I am a good mom and we were finacialy okay and it seemed like an okay idea. We have now had three misscairages. One was spontantious, one I got struck by a car crossing the street(I had the right of way he made an illegal turn) and that baby was due 04-24-2007. Finaly in December I had a misscarige when I did not even know I was pregnate. Bled so bad I had to be hospitalized and an ablation was preformed on my uterus to stop the bleeding. I am still bleeding (5 months now) daily and am going to have a historectomy next month.

Husband says I am too moody and I need to get over the baby thing. As bare as calling me the B word. Teling me he loves me at one time and then describe what he perseves as me and I don't see how he can love that person. He

earlier at work, i was photocopying some stuff and at the opposite side of the room i could see one of my workmates who i get along with quite well. she was with some of her workmates, who i don't really know but have no problem with them. then i heard them mentioning my name so i looked at them and my workmate said "we're not talking about you, don't worry. it's someone else" whenever people say that phrase, i just know that they're talking about me, it's a lesson learned a long time ago. i couldn't hear the rest of the conversation, but they were kicking up a fuss just coz i was wearing my bandage to work since my hand got crushed last night. why is such a big problem to them just coz i wore a bandage? i feel like they shouldn't have said anything since they don't even know me that well, they don't even know my 2nd name, so how can they just judge me like that? i was just real p'd off about that. i've decided it's the final straw so how can i stop her talking to me?

I am not sure if this is healthy for me. To be so involved with her parens. She is a very big mommys girl. To make things worse one night when I was drunk I told her I love you, even though she told me first I love you this much showing with her fingers. I have had continuous problems with my Mom. I am 33 yrs old. Now she doesn't like my husband. She has gone long periods of time with out talking to me at all. Monday was my birthday and I didn't even get a card. She was abusive (physically) my whole life and now she is emotionally, verbally abusive. I really want a better relationship with her but I also refuse to let her disrespect my husband. He isn't allowed in her home. He's never done anything to me as far as abuse or anything. He's a good husband and makes me happy. Any advice?

I just ended a relationship with a Central American woman that had a 9yr. gap between her last relationship and ours.She very rarely dated and was busy raising her then 11yr. old son.I was told by her that in her culture a son is allowed to live in their parents house and are afforded the utmost respect.My problem with this is it extended into her romantic involvement with me and her son influencing her on when we could spend time together or what he thought of me as a potential long term love intrest. This man still sleeps in the same room as his mother and I felt that this was an abnormally close relationship.
Was I wrong for feeling this way? I understand the bond between a mother and son and I feel I was more than patient and understanding because of the long time between relationships.But I don't feel a 20yr. old male child should be so involved with his mothers romantic involvements unless there is abuse going on(which there wasn't).Who's right here?

Ok for those that have not read my questions before
my hubby packed up and walked out 6 weeks ago said he wanted nothing to do with me so i ran to my moms in another state with our kids. Im Bipolar and hes wanted me to get help for it for 6 yrs. I feel he is not motivated and needs direction

well as i said he wanted nothing to do with me then it changed to be that he wanted me to bring the kids back and try to be friends for them. lately its changed to come back we can try again if we go super slow like see each other a few days a week and see where it goes if we can fall into a heathy love.
I've told him I want him back .

A friend of mine, is in love with her B/F for three years. she's 24 now. and there was many people proposed to her throughout these years. the situation is that there is someone recently proposed to her and this is the deal:
He's 35 years old, great position, good future, handsome, rich and have his own house and car, broke up with his ex-girlfriend coz she doesn't want kids and he want it so bad, so open-minded and high-educated and from a well-knowen familly. all his neighbors says good things about him.
her current B/F:
He's 25, not settled at work, still stuying and doesn't even know what major to choose yet! planing to move out of his area but doesn't know yet to where. live in rent apartment with a retailed car. doesn't want kids, not close to his family but he loves her.
the problem is she truely loves him although everybody tried to advise her not to waste her time with him and if she rejected all this good aportunities now, she'll regrate it later when she get older?

I converted to muslim and had a run away marriage at age of 18. Things were ok initially fo 2 years.After he got a job in a branded perfume Co. He was in market out doors all time, i could understand the pessue he had to handel the merchandising he left at 8 am and came at 9 pm. I went on for some time he had stopped getting close to me fo 8 months and evey time i spoke to him of his work and the matte he just said im tired and turned his back to me and slept. He literally bhaved as if there is no intimate life at all btwn couples. I too stated gonig to wok and the situation remained the same. The story b4 this is lengthy but the main prob stats now. From the place we live to the place i wok took 2 hours to travel after he droped me he went to his work and so in the evening picked me up and we drove straight home. When concieved after we intimate after sharp 8 months till then even being next to me he behaved as im not his wife!
