Why does My White Mom get Mad when I say I am Black?
If she didn't want me to say I was black she should have slept with a white man. I have brown skin and curly hair. She should realize that.

Do you have a problem with your mother-in-law? How do you deal with it?

Mines was crazy, still is... when me and my husband got married she tried everything in her power to break us up. She always made our buisness her buisness. And him being "The mommy's boy" always thought she was right. That lady was crazy, and she was beyond evil. She caused so much drama and confusion it caused our marriage to end. Most was because he listened to her and his behavior towards me. So he lost his wife. And she just helped him run from child support...crazy lady!!

My friend needs a nickname. Not really like an email name, more like a name that we can call eachother, and no one else will know what we are talking about. Her name is Giana, and shes blonde, part italian, part white. and shes pretty laid back.

do u think taking a break is a good idea? my boyfriend is saying that he wants a break for a few weeks. i was thinking about that too. i live with a mom he doesn't. however he doesn't live alone he lives with his uncle. a while ago he was saying that he was having mixed feelings. he said if we get back together we get back together but i doubt that will happen. there are times when he thinks my mom is protective im 22 he's 28. there are some rules i have no control over.
does anyone else have any opinions?

I would be it was a female divorce attorney trying to rip off some poor guy who hadn't really done anything wrong but they needed to make him look bad in front of the judge!

Outside of threats of violence, which are wrong and should be reported to the police, there is NO SUCH THING AS "mental abuse"! Every thing else is just nasty words. If you don't like what someone says to you, leave but spare us the "emotional abuse" crap!

I've been with a man for a year and a half. He has always had manic depression. This past week I was going to tell him I needed a break (maybe 6 months or so to see if his behavior gets better...maybe so he'll know I'm serious about wanting him to get help) but before I could tell him, he volunteered himself to go to a mental hospital.

I feel stuck.

Do I still tell him I need a break, or do I stay with him because he's trying to get help? I have my own stress, I cannot deal with his as well. I'm trying to finish up college and get a job.

I do not have the energy or patience anymore. But part of me thinks things will get better.....what would you do?

After 6 yrs. in our relationship, we decided to get married, but we feel now that we are not compatible.We are just married for 3 months up to present,My residence status is not adjusted yet. I he will divorce me for uncompatibilty, do I have the right to stay here in the US? By the way I am from somewhere in Asia. I asked a question not to long ago about my baby's daddy not coming to see his daughter's like he should. I was told by many of you that I was doing the right thing by not letting him walk in and out of their lives. Now, my question is this: He called and asked if he could have them I said yeah but you have to pick them up at my sister's house (Which is right down the street) he says no I didn't have kids with her I tell him I don't want him to know where I live and he states I have to let him know. I don't think I do. We don't get alone and if he finds out where I live he will cause much trouble for me what do I do? Am I wrong for not telling him?

my father in law who lives with us. he's only 55 he acts 100. today he
told alexis who is 2 she is killing him. all she did was craw in his
lap. i didn't see why that would upset him. what should i say to him.

and when she was eating she was eating with her hands and he said rudly
stop eating with ur hands ur making a mess. i don't mind her making a

I've been talking to this guy since December 06 and he's really cool. I finally met him in January of '07 and I noticed something about him that's been bugging me, but I don't if I should bring it up because I don't want to be looked at as rude.

He has a MAJOR UNDERBITE and its really really bothering me. I haven't seen him since January, but we still talk almost everyday and since March he's been in a relationship with this other girl.

I don't want to ask him about it or tell him it bothers me hbecause I don't want to seem like I'm superficial because there can be a lot of things he doesn't like about me and we're not together.

Would it be rude to ask him or should I just keep it to myself?

If I do ask him, how should I go about it in a nice way?

I recently started seeing this guy (24) who moved here in january..we work together...and i really care about him, but he perplexes me so much. we pretty much spend every night together and stuff, but then sometimes he'll say he's got some stuff to do...and then i freak out because i feel like he doesnt care about me...and i dont know if you guys know what facebook is, but through there i added his cousin (a girl) that he's close to as a friend. I started talking to her and she said she would ask him about me (cuz he hadnt mentioned me yet, which was bad news for me already) and when she asked him about me, he said "nahh...tell me about your new dude" (she also recently started dating someone)...now, this kind of offended me? Would you be offended? He tells me he cares about me a lot, and is serious about me, but these things really get to me. why does he not want to talk about me? Is there a valid reason for this? what questions should i ask him?! please help!

Friends of my husbands and I are getting married this Saturday. My husband is a groomsman. I RSVP that we would both be going but being that we live in a small town and everyone we know and trust to watch our kids is going to the wedding (I dont have any family here and my parents in law are going to even though they don't really know the couple but were invited for some reason), we weren't able to find child care for our kids, 2 years old and 10 years old. My husband called the groom and he said we could bring the kids but I dont feel comfortable with doing that. My 10 year old would be ok and probably have a good time but my 2 year old will make it miserable for me since I know he wont sit still and be quite for the ceremony and Ill be running all over with him at the recpetion (Im 6 months pregnant to boot). I've been trying to talk to my husband about this but he keeps insisting I go, even trying to guilt me into going.
