true love is when you have someone there to catch you when you fall and never let you down to have respect for you ,to show you not only telll you to understand and to be able to work problems out without getting violent and getting friends and family involved in it. people flirt bacause maybe they just is'nt ready for that settle down life their minds are still premature.but it's time to wake up and be very cautious about who you are dealing with because you are bound to get into any and everything remeber a person is going to only tell you what they want you to know

True love is when you give the love of self to another to share equally and want nothing else, now that is true love. People flirt cause it makes one feel good, although their intent sometimes get out of hand. Flirting also is a come one to know a person and getting that person to perhaps be yours.

Good question - so I'll star it.
Ever since I was a kid I assumed that 'true love' meant that you really loved someone. It seems like a sensible definition.
It was only a few years back that it suddenly struck me that what people seem to mean by that phrase is simply that the person won't 'cheat' on their partner. It really doesn't much matter if they don't particularly *love* them, as long as theykeep their genitals locked up.
I'm faintly disgusted by this, and I no longer like the phrase.

If you've ever been in "true" love, you would not have to ask the question...so clearly, you have not.
People flirt - men/women because they are attracted to the opposite sex and it is part of the "mating ritual" so to speak in attracting, the opposite sex.
Can't imagine how you came up with such inane questions...guessin you're bored today or being paid here.

true love is constantly thinking about this one person. you cant eat, you cant sleep, you cant pay attention to work or class. people flirt around all because they want you to know that they are single and looking to find mr right or mrs right.
