He is very abcent minded so he claims,he always leaves things a total disaster.He has an office that literally looks like a horcane hit.I get physically sick from such a mess. I will no longer clean his office,but he leaves a trail of disaster all around me.I find it hard to look at him sometimes because he is just a slob.He keeps buying more and more and more too.I really dont know how to control this anymore.I need order,and cleanliness.If I say something to him he argues with me.I have young children that I clean for.I find this so upsetting.Does anyone have construtive ways to help this disasterous situation?Thank you in advance.

I'm letting my bridesmaids pick their own dresses and shoes. I gave them a sample of the shade of green we're using, and asked them to pick out what they liked. I wanted to be sure they'd get something they were comfortable in, and something they can use again (that they acutally like). I've gotten a lot of static from family about this....what do you think?

My boss knows that Ive done my work very well. No one can deny that fact, not even her. But she never says thank you. Not even once. What Ive done so far is to make her and the other workers' lifes easier. So that everyone can breathe easily at work. I do it for everyone and Ive never asked anything from her. But she as a boss, she never acknowledges that. It makes me wonder if she is that ignorant. How can she be so cold-hearted? How does she sleep at night?

I have been going through alot lately. I have finals coming up, and of course the end of the semester work load. I have Praxis tests soon as well figuring out summer classes I have to take. I have a minimum wage job working with kids that I like, but I am not making enough money. My boyfriend is away travelling alot lately. A parent of mine has caught drinking and driving and has to spend a total of 30 days in jail, which will cause them to lose their job...they are also very depressed and have been but our insurance wont cover anything but the regular doctor and they have failed my parent over and over throughout the years. My other parent and I are trying to keep my younger siblings clueless to the jail thing which is stressful. I just feel like alot is on my plate, Im only 19. My other parent doesnt want me to tell anyone about this but its hard not to talk to anyone. My bf wouldnt care anyway, if i tell him im stressed he just says "dont worry about it"-hes no help.....

My dad is having a surprise birthday party in a couple of weeks and i want to get him something which he can keep.

His hobbies are narrow boats and fishing but he has everything he needs. If he sees something he wants he just gets it.

My father and mother are puttin so much pressure on me that I should work so I can help them with the payments of their new car they got. I've worked since I was 15 yrs old and this is my last year in high school and I stop working because I dropped my grade in Geometry. I need to pass this class so I can graduate so thats why I stopped working for a while so I can concentrate on my grades becasue I can't afford to be getting bad grades in school. I want to graduate so I can go to college and prepare for the real world. They want me to be living in their hosue forever. But they don't know that I'm leaving the house right after grauation. I'm going to move in with my fiance he's going to pay for my college and university and we're getting married in June 2007! So this is what I want to do but I feel guilty becasue I have to help my parents out do I?

Well, it's my 23rd birthday today. I have been staying at my boyfriends a lot lately, but Ive still been putting in my time at home w/ chores and stuff. I go to school full time and work part time at a gym, but my boss is REALLY flaky. So this morning, I was at my boyfriends house, when my mother called and started SCREAMING at me that I was supposed to be at work and that "that stupid ***** of a boss was calling the house before 7". There is only one problem with this. I SWEAR on my life my boss never told me I had to be in . She said she would call me with my hours and never called. So my boss is insane, and my mother told me that I shouldnt even come home today because I "****** up again" (which is not the case, ive been nothing but good for the past months) and now Im really upset because its my birthday and Im not even allowed to go home. How should I handle this situation?

P.S. - My mother has a terrible temper, and I think thats a lot of the reason why I dont stay there often

I had a friend who made himself so obvious by watching me and thinking he was my secret pal by his actions. I just have a hard time with him now because he has turned it around on me. He is a flirt with mostly all women; so, it should not be so surprising but I ended up caring about him. He said he cared, too, but not sure why. I am trying to get over all of this but he is a big reminder. I don't understand why I feel this way over somebody who is a player.

It's they way I've always been but no matter how irrational someone is being or unfair, even if I know on intellectual level it is nonsense, I still feel guilty about them getting upset. Its really a problem for me because people who know me tend to exploit this weakness, all you have to do is get mad at me, and I'll feel guilty doesn't matter if it's for a good reason. I would so much like to be person who could be like "you're full of crap" when people try to guilt trip me.

My mother in law has just given given me a birthday gift which was more than adequate given that we do not have a good relationship - just a civil one for the sake of my partner and children (I cannot deny - she's a fantastic grandmother.)

The trouble is that she also gave me $100 cash which I feel awkward about. I think she gives me gifts to compensate for being unable to like me and (possibly) for gossiping about me behind my back. I have seen her do this with others and I assume I am being treated the same.

How can I give the cash back without it looking confrontational?

We are in a serious, but newer relationship. She was a semi-"party" girl, but we fell in love almost instantly. I have two little girls and she does not have any children. Both of us have been married before. I have the girls every other weekend. She goes out from time to time "with her girlfriends". Most being single and party'ers. This past weekend was an overnight stay at a hotel. They all went out, some guys met them out, and one actually came back to the hotel, but stayed in another room. I trust her 100% but I have mixed feelings with this event as well as upcoming excursions. She says she will be doing this about once a month. How should I feel and what should I be saying? I like to think I am not that jealous, but I think everyone is to some extent. i just want to say and do the right thing.

My husband cheated on me 3 times ( he admitted to). If that wasnt bad. With 3 diff people. Wow, that sounds horrible. My thing is that he has been faithful now for over 1 yr and is trying the best he can to make our marriage work. The cheated happened about 2 yrs ago or more. I have just recently come to find out. We are still young. In our early 20s. We have 2 children. A 3 and a 4 year old. I would like to forgive him, like everyone always does, but I kno im not that dumb. I know what i should do. It just helps when other people let me kno what they think. Another big part is that HE IS a sex addict. Which that can be part of the problem. We are still young and I believe in giving another chance. Am I just making excuses??? I am soo confused right now that I dont even kno what i feel towards him anymore. BTW, we have been 2gether 6 yrs and I will be finishing up Nursing School in 3 months.

He has been home from Iraq for almost 3 years and still has no ambition to do anything. he used to be the ambitious one out of the two of us now I can hardly get him to pick up after himself. let alone pay the bills that are in his name. He won't even talk to me. and when I confront him about things he just gets angry and shuts down even more.
