How did you overcome it?

Cried a river...felt sorry for myself...felt like it was the world's end for awhile...As time passed and I got involved in more activities, the pain eased and eventually - I was able to stand back and see it was probably the best thing that could have happened for many reasons that were not, clear to me at the time it occurred...

Grieve if you need to over this guy...for awhile...miss him...BUT then, move on - pick yourself up and realize its a whole big world out there with new possibilities and new people to meet...

Goodluck dear...

Grace

Hasn't everyone at least thought that their heart was broken at one time or another in their life? The answer to that one is YES
Time heals all things...
Grieve, cry it out and then get busy. Take some time for yourself to find out who you really are and what you want out of this life of yours and then go for it.
Things will be brighter and better and the broken heart will be just a memory.

be cool...

I had my heart broken once, and I thought by going out with the girls and having sex with another guy that it would help me forget but It didn't I just felt like a loser and the only thing that really helped me was time.

...yes!!!....and I've probably broken a few of em too! It's just simply some of life's stuff getting in the way again to make you a better person here hun. Let time heal your wounds sweety...and eventually you'll be well enough again to handle a bigger and better relationship anyways. It's just mother nature making corrections here hun...you'll be fine with some time....just like a good wine. Are we cool?

I really have not had my heart broken yet. But I feel like it's coming soon I can't do nothing about it just prepare for the outcome. Also it take time to heal. it's going to hurt but when you heal it take time.

I just chilled with my friends. Had a lot of fun and before I knew it I was over her. Also her life turned completely to hell after I left her for cheating on me so that helped too.

heartbreak is the worst thing ever, especially if you REALLY love the person a whole lot.
its a feeling you get in your gut and it hurts really bad.
I guess you just have to really get into going and seeing your friends a whole lot more than you ever have in your life because thats when your really gunna need it.
Learn to love life and yourself and you'll be happier too.
