I just downloaded SpyBot Search and Destroy, I scanned my computer and removed all the problems... I am still having pop-ups after that. What is going on? I have a firewall and I have pop-up blockers. It said there are no more problems. What's the deal?

If for example I want to log on to myspace, when I type in my username, my password automatically comes up (must have clicked remember me at some point). Password is of course in asterisks. Where on my computer can I find that password. ( I don't remember it and don't want to register a new one). Somewhere windows must be storing these passwords. Please tell me where?

in my family, I'm considered the technology-savvy one. (i'm not....we're just a dull-witted family). in any case, my sister is convinced that her boyfriend (who lives in another state) has somehow hacked into her computer, discovered her password, and is now reading her mail. First, there is no way that he is smart enough to have done this. Second, could he have hired someone? (i.e. is it possible?)

I had the free AVG free antivirus and it would come up on a regular time to update my virus scan. Now I no longer see the icon on the bottom of my screen and it no longer does the updates. It is still located on my desktop though. I had added what I thought was a free firewall, is that AVGw, that is also on my desktop now. Please help, I'm not young and still trying to learn the right way. What has gone wrong, can anybody help me.

Everything starts okay and as soon as it says "updating malware information" the status bar starts flashing erratic and it jumps back and forth from 11 minutes left to 21 minutes left.
