right i dont know exactly whats happend, i dont think its a virus because im doing norton antivirus scan and its not detetcting anything, i think its more of something ive acccidently loaded onto my computer. basicly yesterday i was on a website and up came the usual click to download activix controll or whatever it is and i did well now im getting all these popups saying warning your computer could have viruses click yes to install pcsecure to do a system scan and when i click no or yes it brings up an internet page asking me to buy there software product. also my toolbar has changed to this thing that has remove popups spam protection and all that instead of my ussual google toolbar. i also had a few computer icons with the same sortof thing ( spam protection, error cleaner) and i deleted those but i cant actuly find any programes in add or remove programes. i also cannot have a desktop backround because when i try it sez cannot find C//INTERNET SPYWARE NOT FOUND. please help me?

I went to a website, and it copied my desktop and started to make message pop up like your computer is infected with malware and you must do a scan. I didn't to the scan i closed it and don't know if it affected anything. It was telling me to buy something, and i don't think the scan was a scan, it looked like downloading thing, but i closed it half way.

i bought a new computer about 2 months ago and came with a norton internet security suite for 60 days, it's gonna expire in about 4 days, i'm gonna go buy a new one, can someone please tell me the steps on how to remove the current one and install the new one without getting virueses installed while i uninstall the current one.

Okay , heres what happens .Im searching on Yahoo , I click on a link to a website . I then get routed to a bunch of totally different "search" pages . I click the back button on the browser but it will not let me go back to Yahoo .I have to retype the Yahoo address in the address section on my browser to go back to yahoo . I have popup blocker enabled , I also have McAfee Virus Protection.Is there a easy solution to this??????

Well recently my wireless internet connection is either not working, or very low. And then I log on today and I have a bunch of warnings telling me I have spyware, and I don't know where they came from. And a toolbar got added to my browser (which I can't Delete) and my homepage has been changed to safetysettings.com (which I can't change either). Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have my pop-up blocker on, yet I keep getting pop ups, that direct me to thier sites, this happens regardless of what site I'm currently visiting, and it even happens when I'm watching videos, and when I click shut down I keep getting pop ups and commercials videos. Please make it stop.

When I try starting Firefox browser in my PC a window appears "I don't hate Firefox but use IE dope or else.......". I am not allowed to use firefox. It appears to be a virus. I have had wireless internet at home for about a year and a half now. When I set it up, I made it secure, with a password. I am absolutely positive that it was secured connection. I used to check in often to make sure cause I was so paranoid. Now all of a sudden, it says that my wireless internet connection is unsecured!! What happened? And how can I restore it? I'm not sure I remember the security code I'd used.
