i dont trust, the diskclean freeware, i have tried to remove it, add/remove programmes, but it wont remove, i think my son has downloaded something here, which is potentially, dangerous, or hackers, any suggestions, on how i get rid of it

lets see, im using winXP pro
i use ad-aware (lavasoft.com) 2007, updated
and when i do a full system scan, it will start scanning
and then about 5-10 seconds later, my pc will auto restart, wth???

it even auto-restar DURING SAFE MODE !!!!!!

ok so i'm an idiot and tried to download a program to watch a video and as soon as i did i've been getting pop ups for "anti-virus" things and all of a sudden i get a porn pop up. i've looked in my programs to see if i need to delete anything and i have deleted anything that remotely looks suspecious but they still keep on coming......

i can't afford a new computer can somebody please help me with this

I want a program that will rid of pop-ups, spyware, adware, protect my computer from virus.. perform routine scans, tell me what's going on with my computer, etc... Anyone have a GREAT program that does all this and is TRUSTFUL... I don't want something that will have continous pop-ups asking me to let this in, deny this, accept this, etc.. I can't stand that!

Has any one heard of the above?
I've had the chance to use it this week! Fabulous stuff. this thing is virtually indestructible technology! Basically works on a server and client basis. saves a lot of money and really safe to surf any turf (and i really mean any!)
I've got contact with the person in charge of it. anyone interested let me know and if you have a virus that you think can crack that system pass it on or...come along....i've been promised a free return ticket to mauritius.....make it yours
anyway i think its one to watch! what's the views?

I read the "EULA", agreement and there are parts that state, "you will allow third party advertisements".

Can any one please tell me if they know for sure that only "Joost", registry keys are installed. I don't wish to have packet of unknown spam registry keys installed at the same time "Joost", is installed in my registry.

My internet security is kaspersky internet security 6.0. I think it can't detect viruses, why? my friend, who has a weaker internet security system, was able to detect the virus. My anti-virus is updated daily and it is not expired. A little help please :-)

I have talked to my internet sevice provider and he says that it is not the correct address. The numbers are way off. So I was wondering if there is a way that I can find the real IP address or if someone changed it, cause I believe that I have been infected with spyware, thanks to Limewire. Can anyone help?

spam mails when you post an ad looking for a dog or something they say they will send you the breed of your choice as long as you send the shipping fees. i got scammed! one of those d*** popup ads saying that for security purposes i needed to download DRIVECLEANER. like a d*****ss, i hit ok. but before i ran or saved the file, i got skeptical, apparently too late, so i canceled and thought it may not have downloaded. guess it did, b/c now my nortonantivirus is saying that it found a *HIGH RISK* virus - drivecleaner - but my subscription ran out. my dad renews it, but im scared by tomorrow, its gonna do some damage to my computer!!! PLUS, my computer wont even shut down now. when i go to turn it off, the norton thing keeps popping up, and wont allow me to shut down. PLEASE HELP!!!!

these pages just keep popping up when i am on the net weather its on my home page going into my email page no where is safe from these annoying things. When i try to cancle or close them it shuts my connection down and when i open up again i get the message your last session crashed. I have got ad aware and anti spy ware but nothing seems to stop them. Before the page appears I get a box that suggests IE has sent them.
