My internet security is kaspersky internet security 6.0. I think it can't detect viruses, why? my friend, who has a weaker internet security system, was able to detect the virus. My anti-virus is updated daily and it is not expired. A little help please :-)

There could be several resons why someone else may be able to detect a virus and you can't.
1 is because your Machine is Clean.
Kapersky is rated the best of all out in the market place.
If you have run the Scan and it's not there then I wouldn't worry.

What makes you think you have the same virus your friend has? You machine may be clean. In that case your Kaspersky would not pick up anything. You can also run a online scan at http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx

Contact Kaspersky, i think there is a way to test your anti virus is to create a test virus the link http://youtube.com/watch?v=dj6ncKokN6E is a you tube video.
