I seek to email an article which I've scanned to desktop. First I need to copy the article, then paste it into an email message to send faster than snail mail, if feasible.

However, I've not been able to copy the scanned article. Can you tell me how?

When you SCAN the item, you need to SAVE it in JPG format. Save it to wherever you want, including the desktop. Once you have saved it, check the file size. For Yahoo, it must be under 10 MB to be able to attach it. Then, open your email account, set up the email, and use "Attach" to locate your file where you have saved it and attach it.
