My mom put passwords on the computer, so I can't get on. She never leaves it unlocked, how do I get on?

I am at my friend's house on his computer right now...

Well, to the guy that answered first and had the really long answer....my mom like, hates me or something. No reason for her to lock it. I got on there one hour a day, checked my emial, said hi to my friends, chatted with my friends for a bit, and got off. I can't have even less access, because I have no access.

You are obviously a bad kid.

If your mother locked the computer, it was for a reason.

Do you really want to get in more trouble? Do you have so little control over your urges that you are unable to be grown up and responsible? Is it all about you?

I think you should take a moment and consider what you could do to be in good graces with your mother and get computer time with her blessings. I have a feeling you would be a better person and get along with your mother better than you are now.

If I were your parent and you went around a password, I would sell the computer and ensure you have even less access. Do you really want your mother to do that? What makes you think she might not?

There are certainly ways to get around a password such as Ophcrack...

However, my advice would be to ask yourself why your mother has locked you out of the computer and communicate with her.

Your mother is the best friend you will ever have in this life. She is the only person in this world who truly cares about you, who cares about your safety, and will be there for you through good and bad times.

If you are going to be so foolish as to blow all of that and to possibly lose her trust then you don't deserve a mom that cares enough to lock you out.

good luck.

just ask your mom what you could do to get your computer priviladges back as your doing the dishes.. be responsible, going behind her back trying to get in will just make it worse if you can possibly even do it.

if it's a bios password:

look for a guide on how to remove your bios battery / reset bios password.

if it's windows, then all you could do is pluck a single hair from your head, cut it into 26 seperate peices and place them on each individual letter, then have her type the password and look which hairs are missing. worked for me.

Maybe your mom locked it for a reason.
