I ran an AVG (free ed) virus test twice. Both times it said "Threats Found: 1" but no action was taken (Cleaned / Moved to vault / Deleted / Errors all said 0). After the 1st time I emptied the Virus Vault (which contained threats found by earlier tests), but that didn't help.

What am I supposed to do? I’ve tried clicking everywhere I can think of but nowhere does it list the name of the virus (when it was scanning I saw it said "Virus Worm", but now it doesn’t even say that). I can’t figure out a way to remove the threat.

Thanks so much if you can help!

I like to think about amazing things in life. What's possible. Is it possible for a person to hack the entire world, and crash all the computers, or control them all. Or maybe in a country?

...I am having problems with my Windows Vista Administrators User account password. For some reason it won't recognise my password. I only have one password, so I haven't got it wrong. I haven't got Caps Lock or Number lock on. I have tried F5'ing to get into safe mode to change the password that way, but when I select safe mode, it just takes me straight to my start-up page with no option to go into my administration log on in order to change the password. I have been at this for hours, so all help gratefully received....

Yes: This indicates that the Fair Access Policy was in effect during the past 5 minutes. This may occur if there is a high amount of data download by computers connecting via your DW6000 terminal, over a long period of time. Certain viruses can cause such activity; please make sure you have an Anti-virus program with updated virus definitions on every computer that connects to the DW6000 terminal. Also, if you have a wireless router or hub, please ensure that it is configured for access by your computers only.
Note: While the Fair Access Policy is in effect, you may notice some degradation in the peak download speeds and in some cases, this may also affect your browsing times.

I have avg. Have not downloaded anything on any of the computers. Why are they telling me this.

THIS TOOK TWO PAGES OF THE TUESDAY USA TODAY - IT IS FOR REAL

PLEEEEEEASE READ!!!! it was on the news!

This thing is for real. Rest assured AOL and Intel will follow through with their promises for fear of facing a multimillion-dollar class action suit similar to the one filed by PepsiCo against General Electric not too long ago.

Dear Friends; Please do not take this for a junk letter. Bill Gates sharing his fortune. If you ignore this, You will repent later. Microsoft and AOL are now the largest Internet companies and in an effort to make sure that Internet Explorer remains the most widely used program, Microsoft and AOL are running an e-mail beta test.

When you forward this e-mail to friends, Microsoft can and will track it (If you are a Microsoft Windows user)? For a two weeks time period.

For every person that you forward this e-mail to, Microsoft will pay you $245.00 For every person that you

people who are moderators, and even admin, can access your personal phones, msn messenger, etc, listen into you, and put the stuff out in ukcb forums. well me and my girlfriend can and have proved that they can and do. they are sick perverts, who listen in to private calls, and messenger conversations, and put it out on forums, then delete, these people are moderators, so i advise you all to be very careful when on ukcb, and if any one else has encountered anything similar, please anser this question, and let me know.

I downloaded some software for my laptop and not only did it not install properly it seemed to bring a nasty little cookie with it called 'whenUsave' Everytime i'm on the intenet it seems to spy on what i'm looking at, open a new internet page with some random web address - poker is a favorite but it can be anything and it even trys to trick me into downloading stuff. Ive tried uninstalling it, norton internet security will find a 'tracing cookie' i fix it then ten minutes later its back again doing exactly what it was doing before. Ive seached my laptop for anything called 'whenU' found some stuff and deleted it but same thing happens every time. I just can't get rid of it and its really upsetting me. I'm even thinking of wipeing my whole laptop and starting again.
Can someone please help before i end up throwing my 4 month old laptop that i could ill afford in the first place out the window!?

This is driving me crazy! I just purchased the Norton 360 and I am trying to download it. I get a pop up that says 'Set up had detected that LiveUpdate or Auto Live Update is running. Please stop Live Update or wait for Auto Live Update to complete, then re-launch setup. Setup will now abort.'
What does this all mean? I don't have an Up date running. What should I do to get my Norton 360 running? Thank you to anyone who helps!!!
