Yes: This indicates that the Fair Access Policy was in effect during the past 5 minutes. This may occur if there is a high amount of data download by computers connecting via your DW6000 terminal, over a long period of time. Certain viruses can cause such activity; please make sure you have an Anti-virus program with updated virus definitions on every computer that connects to the DW6000 terminal. Also, if you have a wireless router or hub, please ensure that it is configured for access by your computers only.
Note: While the Fair Access Policy is in effect, you may notice some degradation in the peak download speeds and in some cases, this may also affect your browsing times.

I have avg. Have not downloaded anything on any of the computers. Why are they telling me this.

Does your PC have a wireless network router attached ? Have you done as they suggested and checked for security settings (turn off wireless if you don't use it)

Also check for other "nasties" on the PC, use a spyware sweeper, some of them can also be used to send masses of emails etc.

I'd reccomend these 2, run each in turn
ADAWARE fro www.lavasoftusa.com (Free personal version)
also SPYBOT S&D from www.spybot.org (Again free for home use)

Also worth having in toolbox is CCLEANER from www.ccleaner.com again a free download, and a good general windows tidyup utility.

Alternatively why not CALL THEM, ask them how much they believe you downloaded, and if they can offer any ideas as to best course of action.

You may have a virus/trojan that AVG did not catch. A lot of times a trojan will get loaded by accident and since the program is being installed virus scanners will let it by. Try a different online virus scanner and a spyware scanner to see if they catch anything.

Another thing to take in to consideration is ... Do you have an open wireless access point? If you do ... someone else may be downloading from your connection.
