I ran an AVG (free ed) virus test twice. Both times it said "Threats Found: 1" but no action was taken (Cleaned / Moved to vault / Deleted / Errors all said 0). After the 1st time I emptied the Virus Vault (which contained threats found by earlier tests), but that didn't help.

What am I supposed to do? I’ve tried clicking everywhere I can think of but nowhere does it list the name of the virus (when it was scanning I saw it said "Virus Worm", but now it doesn’t even say that). I can’t figure out a way to remove the threat.

Thanks so much if you can help!

This is my recommendation for anti-virus. Free are good, but they are not as accurate as the top paid anti-virus software

Top-Tier
Kaspersky

Nod32

I wouldn't panic. Just run an Online virus scan here:

Hope this helps.

Hi--AVGs interface is confusing! why cant they say DELETE--instead of move to vault etc etc---better get Kaspersky 7.0 to me its the best or get Antivir free from www.free-av.com---its very easy to use and very effective---cheers!
