he has your computer bugged with a key logger, it records everything you type, that's the only way that sonofa***** could get your password

How do you know whether to accept or deny something blocked by the firewall? For instance, something called "Com.Surrogate" keeps getting blocked by my firewall and I keep denying access, because I don't know what it is.
Is there a way to determine if I should permit entry?

i know that it is said that when you delete a file from your computer, it doesnt reallly get deleted. simply "forgotten". what are some simple ways to delete them for good? is there anything that doesnt require another program needing to be installed to terminate these files? i have windows XP btw. 10 points awarded quickly to the most helpful answer! xoxox thank you!
p.s incase this helps, the files i want to permanently delete are internet cookies (i already clicked on the delete cookies button but i dont know if they are gone for good) and limewire files... stuff like that.

Is there any difference? A friend tried to briefly explain it, but he just made it more confusing. What is the difference?

First, HP messed up my computer BY TRYING TO FIX IT, so I just decided to recover it, meaning getting back to factory default state but not losing my data completely. I had to reinstall spysweeper too. Now, my computer is running slower and I keep getting popups saying it's infected and that I need to buy some program to get rid of things.
I know lots of people have trouble with their norton and they say that you must pay to get customer service by the phone!!

I just renewed my subscription this last summer, but now it says that I have 30 -something days left of it.
On the security tab, it says DISABLED and when I click turn on, the computer merely restarts.
Please!! What should I do?? I am a student and this is disrupting my work. Should I just get a different virus protector??
Please help! Thank you and God bless you!!!

ok so i got a virus that seemed to make my internet very slow, and i got spyware that had a little yellow triangle with an exclamation point near my clock that gave me tons of pop ups. so i downloaded avg 7.5, avg anti spyware, ad aware se personal, and spybot. now all of these programs with 2 days of thorough scans seemed to support what i thought. i had a trojan virus and lots of spyware, but these programs did nothing to help only detect. after searching specifically for these problems i found that people used avast! antivirus for the trojan, and SUPERantispyware for the yellow triangle problem. 1 day later they both got taken care. The next day i did scans with all programs including those and nothing is detected. BUT BUT my internet is dsl and is going as slow or slower than dial up. this has nothing to do with the modem seeing as i play my ps3 lag free, so i dont know what the problem is but i want it fixed. please help!

In internet options - general you can delete your saved passwords, but that deletes all of them. Is there a way you can access your stored passwords and delete the obsolete ones and leave the others intact ?
