first you need to found out what keylogger he is using, he can also us a network sniffer to do this.

And he can not be arrested if he owns the PC! Its like me on my pc at work is the works PC and anything i do on it they own it.

Most of the time the key logger wont show in task manager cause it runs as a service. So what i would do is get a list of program files and post them, you may have to show hidden folders too to see it.

Is it a shared computer or your own personal computer? If he has access to your computer then yes he can install a key logger or other monitoring software. There is tons of software (both free and premium) you can use to prevent your computer being used by unauthorized people but it's more difficult on a shared PC.

If it's your own personal computer then it might be a good idea to format the hard drive (or buy a new one) and re-install Windows afresh; this will completely wipe out all programs and files stored on your computer. the downside is that you have to back up everything you need to keep or you lose it - it's just like erasing a video tape; once it's gone, it's gone.

Are you on a home network? If you have wireless connections then he may be able to access your computer from another computer (switch off "printer and file sharing") so you would have to block those connections.

I think re-installing Windows is the safest method, but it's a pain in the butt re-installing all the other programs and bits of hardware - it's not difficult, just time consuming.

welll..i am a programmer and i have built a keylogger myself...the results are amaising....i can read emails get passwords..hell i can find out if u are playing games on your PC...there are many keyloggers out there...the simpliest way to stop the keylogger is to identify it in the task manager...CTR+ALT+DEL and u can se what processes are runing...but of course u need to know about Operating Systems show that u can filter the good processes from the ones u are looking for....if u find the right process and terminate it..voila...no more keylogging...

The other way is to talk to your husband and most likelly he is gelous of u...Tell him this : IF U THINK THAT I AM CHEATING ON U AND U NEED TO CONSTANTLLY WATCH OVER MY SHOULDER THEN I AM GOONA DO THAT FOR SHURE SO U WILL HAVE A GOOD REASON FROM NOW ON.

there are even hardware ones, just trace your keyboard wire to your computer and see if there is a adapter there, or does the wire just plug straight into your PC?

There is even software that takes pictures of your screen at certain intervals, then emails it to another email, cell phone, etc...

try doing a spyware scan (free)

or press ctrl alt delete (all at once) to start the task manager, and go to the processes and create a new question or add the follow details: everything under Image Name.
ex, for my PC:
firefox.exe
utorrent.exe
dwm.exe
explorer.exe
taskmgr.exe
taskeng.exe
winlogon.exe
and so on and hopefully somebody will google and research them for you.

It's not an "option", it's a hacker software tool that he installed to spy on you.

To learn more about it, search Wikipedia for: Key logger

Removing it is a whole other challenge. You need to identify the name of the program first, then Google search for removal instructions.

Tell hubby he can be arrested for what he did.
