change my spyware which is Windows Defender?

Is it compatible with Mozilla Firefox or is it intended to work solely with IE7?

whenever i try to right click on the taskbar and choose Task Manager or when i try CTRL+ALT+DEL, a message box appears saying that my task manager has been disabled. the problem is, I am the only administrator in my laptop..... For the MSCONFIG, it doesn't show up everytime i run it... pls help.. still have a lot of things to work on...

I noticed early this morning, Paris, time that over 8,000 people download this free software that allows you to watch thousands of TV channels and radio from all over the world for free.

My antispyware used by the Government Of China, http://www.filseclab.com detected a embedded trojan. (The entire file was killed, as the trojan will steal your data).

I always download to save and then scan for viruses and spyware before I open any file.

Can it prevent me from using it if they are? Also, if you know how to stop this, I'd like to know. I think my neighbor uses mine, not totally sure though.

Norton seems to screw up my computer. And is there a site where I can download either a full version or a trial version of the other software for free so I can see how it works with my computer. I would hate to pay for something that wont work the way I need it too.

So we wiped our computers of viruses, but the viruses I guess are on our server so every time we access things on the server we get the viruses again. How to I clean and protect the server? Thanks

Somebody has hacked into my account and have written and sent explicit emails to just a few contacts in my address book, using details (like where I live) from my sent box (I think). This really is a malicious attack which has caused some problems.

Also, my banking details and a range of personal details and passwords are in the inbox.

Very worried! I have found a report abuse form for those with @gmail.com suffixes but I have a @googlemail.com address so I can't use this form.

I have heard Google aren't much help, I spoke to a secretary at their office in London on the phone who refused to help, fobbing me off with an email address.

Who to contact, the police?

i recently downloaded spybot search & destroy because it was recommended. but every time i try to scan my computer with it, my computer shuts off mid scan.whats going on? anything i can do to fix the problem or can you recommended a spyware equal or better than spybot?

My computer has been invaded by spyware that i believe is called "Purity Scan", which causes my computer to freeze and "Outerinfo" advertising pop ups to appear. I downloaded avg spyware protection and scanned my system in safe mode. I quarantined "purity scan" ( a high risk spyware) and all the other spyware threats found in my system, but it just comes back. please help!

Are you as pissed off as me with these arsholes that make spyware. We go to work to make money, we then spent that hard earned money on a nice new computer, we log on to the internet and WHAM spyware.

The arsholes that do this are no more than vandals and thieves, by that I mean the companies that place that spyware on my computer then ask for money to download the program from the internet to remove the spyware they put on in the first place.

I believe someone has the technology to track these bastards down and prosecute them. If the technology is not yet available then lets stop spending the money we make on other things and make the internet safer.

This is just me ranting on because I work from home. I have a home based internet business and the internet is where I make all my money from.
So when I get a piece of spyware my online business comes to a halt until I can run my anti spyware program to get rid of it.

I want to know this for chat monitoring on my network. Im the admin of the network.

Ok, i have a laptop notebook running BACKTRACK 2 linux.

It has wireshark 0.99.4 running on it.

I have heard from my previous question that it is possible to sniff msn chats with wireshark..

Notes:
I heard about a MSNMS protocol???

Im new to this linux but have been sniffing computers for a while now, but now im sniffing some answers!! :D.

As im new, could you give me a also step by step guide?

just been listing items to sell on ebay and glanced up and where it says your name (star lets say!) then in brackets your username. well it does'nt say my name it sayes hello AgA*. when i sign in again it said hello my real name, then i went to my ebay and it changed to hello AgA*!!! does anyone know what this is?
could someone hacked into my account???

Keep in mind, "Website Cool" is a FREE website, unless you choose to buy virtual money to spend throught the site to gain access to more features however 80% of "Website Cool" is free.

NOW HERES THE TWIST:

Spamming is not promoted by Website Cool, however near all of its users use this tactic to sign up peopel to refer them to join. My friend (we will call him "Bruce") "Bruce" found a loophole. Bruce found that by using internet proxy sites to surf the web anonymously. * WHICH ARE LEGAL AND FREE * he can create accounts practically unlimitedly without having to spam and break the websites term of service. Thus gaining Bruce $1 per every time he creates a account
