lets see, im using winXP pro
i use ad-aware (lavasoft.com) 2007, updated
and when i do a full system scan, it will start scanning
and then about 5-10 seconds later, my pc will auto restart, wth???
it even auto-restar DURING SAFE MODE !!!!!!

Hm. I haven't tried Ad-Aware lately, but I would recommend that you try a different program. I recommend Spybot - S&D, which is also available for free download.

auto restarting could be due to lot of reasons -
u can try scanning in safe mode
check your hard drive to see if the hard drive space is too small
u may have to many background processes running and thus no sufficient RAM to run the scan
