Norton can be a real pain in the keister to uninstall cleanly and completely. Many need to download and run the Norton Removal Tool from the Norton / Symantec website.

Good luck.

you can uninstall your systemic Norton anti virus by simply right clicking the the icon of the file then click delete, then click "Add or remove Programs" after that select the icon Norton Anti virus then click Remove button or Change/Remove Button then it will prompt you to uninstall the program.
---OR---
Go to Control Panel then double click "Add or remove Programs" then follow the instruction above.

if you go start click on that and then select the control panel,
you should see something called add or remove programs.
when you click on this a list will be generated..all you need to do is find the program that you want to remove and then click on the remove button....note:make sure that it is the correct program cause you don't want to end up removing the wrong one..
follow the steps for untistall and it eventually it will show up in the recycle bin..If you click on that button(recycle bin) you will see it there..
I hope this helps...
