by running an adware away scan (scan only), i got a report of 7 objects in categories such as system restriction, IE UrlSearchHook,IE Url BHO & Toolbar, and Notify Dlls. i'm looking for some free software to remove this infection. the webpage http://nsl-school.org is my home page now(it used to be yahoo.com). i contracted this infection by accidentally clicking on a link that i received through yahoo messenger. this infection in its initial stages used to send out harmful links to all my contacts on yahoo messenger. ppppppppplllllllls HELP!

i've alredy installed Kas-7 Anti-virus guard in my PC. there is a error message which displays every 2-3 minutes "YOUR KEY HAS BEEN BLACKLISTED UPDATE OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE " this has become a real headache for me. can some one help me to get rid of it. can anyone give me the key to stop this message so that i can download updates through INTERNET.
i didn't purchase the product insted i have downloaded it from the free software site on the internet with keys , product is working and the problem is updates and message box..

All the scams have finally made communication online less effective than snail mail. I occasionally delete an important message while deleting spam scams as well as spending countless hours reviewing junk.

Ive almost been tricked lately by scammers getting a hold of my resume which was submitted to a legitimate head hunter.

I've had it and am willing to spend some time at fighting back before entirely giving up on the www.

How can I better protect my internet harddrive? It is simply just encripted. Someboby just told me purchase a firewall that costs 500 or 600 USD. Besides, anyway I can protect it better whenever I open the FPT to the public.

Yesterday I had to format my whole computer system, some virus was blocking Internet explorer to open. I have AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 installed on my comp.Earlier I had Norton Antivirus installed but it slowed down the performance of my computer. From yesterday onwards I have been scanning my comp every time I exit internet explorer. Everytime it shows a list of cookies tagged as "medium risk" ? What r these cookies ?? I have some idea but not sure ??

Plz someone give me some tips to avoid viruses in future ??????

In my Hotmail account, I received an e-mail from Yahoo! Member Services (my-login-request@cc.yahoo-inc.com), asking to verify my Hotmail account (known by Yahoo! as alternative address). This e-mail was indicated by Hotmail as being "blocked for your safety". Earlier, through Yahoo! Answers, I refused to verify this address.
Question 1: Are "my-login-request@cc.yahoo-inc.com" and (Reply-to:) "my-yahoo-register@cc.yahoo-inc.com" regular accounts with Yahoo! ?
Question 2: If so, why does Hotmail indicate this message as being dangerous (phishing) ?
Question 3: If so, why doesn't Yahoo! find a better way to request verification of alternative e-mail address ?
Question 4: This message being forwarded from my Hotmail account to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com, didn't produce any reply from Yahoo! Is this the usual procedure with Yahoo! ?

Hi. Recently when I start up my laptop, sometimes the security center and Windows firewall get disabled and I get this balloon saying that my pc is at risk. I cannot enable Win firewall. I get a
message saying that due to an unknown reason my security settings is disabled. I have AVG anti virus and anti rootkit plus spybot S&D. A couple of days ago spybot found something saying that its a virus disabling win fire wall. I removed it and now spybot does not find anything but still 3 out of 5 times I start my pc I have the same prob. Does anyone have any ideas what I should do to fix it? Thanks.

Everytime I go to certain websites (myspace, facebook, imdb, hotmail, etc.) I see the screen for a split second, then it goes to a dell search page. I have to try to stop the page in that split second, by clicking on the red stop button, and it usually takes severalt trys to 'catch' the page and not get a search page. What is the deal with this? How can I make it stop?

This virus infects a user computer, and auto-send it to other computers through MSN messenger. I heard that there are a few kinds of similar trojan attack my friends' computer. The trojan which infects my computer save its file as .zip files in C:\WINDOWS Anyone can help??? Thanks!
