1. Goto Start And Then Search.
2.On The Left Click All Files And Folders.
3. In The Top Box Type In BT.
4. After A Little While You Should See A Folder Called BT Yahoo Double Click It.
5. The Dialer Is In There Delete Everything Thats In The Folder And Then Goto The Recycle Bin And Empty The Bin Then Scan Norton Again And It Should Now Be Gone.

You should be able to back up the "My Documents" folder to CD Take this to a machine you know is BOTH viruses free and has the latest AV data files update. Start the AV software put you CD in the drive and do a DEEP SCAN, SCAN ALL FILES This should at least save your valuable files. Delete your systems restore files, as Virus can hide in these, By Start Control Panel Performance and Maintenance System System Restore Put a check mark (tick) in the box next to "turn of system restore on all drives" you can turn this back on after the AV scan. As for the virus do you know what file it is attached to ? If you do you can delete the file. Obtain a copy of a reputable AV software install it DO NOT RUN A SCAN JUST YET run the AV software if it has an update option click on that to install the update/s then run the AV software with DEEP SCAN, SCAN ALL FILES If the AV software detects an infected file click "CLEAN FILE" It will take a while but may save you. IF you have to reinstall windows this is usually on a partition that you can only see using the DOS prompt and typing D: Dir *.* to list the files and if Install Exe is there type “install” this should start the normal windows installation follow the prompts. If there is NOT parathion your going to have to contact the retailer, PC WORLD ??? and they may charge for the service. Ask them about obtaining a installation CD for the future as well.

Generic Dialer is (not a virus) what is known as a PuP (potentially unwanted program).. and you usually need to configure your antivirus program to look for these.
Hopefully, you are using antivirus from a reliable vendor like McAfee, properly configured, and automatically updating...
OK this is why I always add the "properly configured" to the above... and here is the directions from McAfee on how to configure mcafee to check for and remove PuPs
http://vil.nai.com/vil/pups/configuration.aspx
The thing about PuP's is that a dialer is not a malicious program like a virus, worm, or trojan.. but if misused as this is to dial expensive porn sites.. then it is a good program used in a bad way... the fact that you were somehow tricked into downloading and isntalling it is irrelevant to your antivirus scanner...
I always get PuP warnings for security tools I use, like password crackers...
Here is what the McAfee threat center says about this dialer:
Porn Dialers are applications which give the user access to a list of long-distance phone numbers for use with a pornographic "service".
These applications may show a window upon being run initially which will prompt the user whether or not to continue and install or use the modem to dial the long-distance phone numbers. If this window does not appear initially, it will generally appear after a system is restarted, if the porn dialer copies itself to a startup location. These windows generally feature pictures of scantily clad women, which may appear unexpectedly once a system is restarted.
Even if the user chooses not to continue, system changes may still be made:
Files may be copied locally
This is usually to a "Program Files" sub-folder with a name based upon the name of the company whose "service" is being used
Files may be referenced in startup locations
These references may be in places such as Startup folders or in the registry Run keys
Shortcuts may be created on the Start menu or on the desktop
Additional registry keys regarding the dialer application may also be added
The detection of this type of file is not automatically activated.
Users who would like to check for the presence of this kind of files on their system should run the command line scanner with the /PROGRAM switch.
Please note that VirusScan 7 has also an option, which enables users to detect this kind of program automatically (see below).

Try removing it in safe mode. Also, Superantispyware will remove it. AVG is good too. Or try reformatting the computer. That will work for sure.
